Ethan/FauxEm (I know they're really kind of over already...but he needs to forget about her so he can find a new young lady to pursue...love me some Ethan!  )***Five relationships that have what it takes to go the distance...think anchor couple status*** Ok I don't imagine I will be agreed with but that's ok (and it's not going to be easy because there aren't many on the show that I see having staying power). 1. Robin and Patrick. First of all, their parents are some of GH's vet characters and that in itself is a huge thing. Also, the two of them have overcome so much to be together, his straying ways and her insecurities and neurotic ways to become a loving, trusting, strong family. 2. Jason and Liz. From the day they met at Jake's, there was a bond between them. Jason was the misfit of the family due to his accident and was always told who he SHOULD be. Liz lives her life to what OTHERS feel she should be, not who she is, and the two of them allow the other to be who they are, with no pressure. They are at ease with each other, there isn't the insecurities that they have had in other relationships, they just ARE with each other. They respect each other, they trust each other yet they don't have to play games or have to change who they are for each other. Not to mention, since Liz is THE legacy character of GH (is actually a PART OF her legacy family, it's not just a blood tie) and Jason is a Q, trying to fit into his life now and his Q heritage, the two of them could bring the family back to front and center on the show. Since the danger factor for Jason is OBVIOUSLY gone, they could take away all danger, all the time (which is something GH NEEDS to tone WAY down) and focus on the struggles of having to deal with the Q family, deal with Jason's work as a separate entity from who Jason is, we can see Jason FINALLY have all he's wanted and we can see Liz FINALLY get someone in her life who will allow her to be HERSELF, not the china doll they THINK she is but the REAL her, the one that is strong and spritely and has that no nonsense, don't mess with me attitude. 3. Carly and Jax. I know many think Jax is a wienie but really, what other man has EVER been able to keep Carly from CONSTANTLY yelling and thinking the world resolves around what she wants or what SHE thinks should be, everyone else be d@mned? Jax allows Carly to be who she is BUT at the same time, gives her the security in the relationship without the drama of "do I or don't I." These two have built something through pitfalls, an affair, miscarriages, etc and have allowed themselves to be secure in the relationship with the other. Jax had that once with Chloe and Carly's NEVER had that. They know they want each other and love each other and have actually BECOME a family, without the fear of losing it (so far  )!4. Ok now I'm stumped so I will say Johnny and Olivia. These two started out as just lovers but developed a bond through mutual trust and respect. They understand each other and their faults are what have made them stronger as they don't have to put on heirs or be who they aren't. 5. The only other one I have is Sonny's and his supersperm. It's reliable, he can count on it and it's consistent. Sonny doesn't have to worry that it will never work and he can walk away from it at any time when he's done with it without having to pay alimony (though it could end up in a child support payment!) 5 songs to be sung at Jake's for karaoke and who should be singing them and to who (from the cast)? |

"Private Eyes" Spin to Sam (or viceversa) 2. "Maneater" Sonny, Ric (he'd have to come back, of course), Dante to Claudia 3. "Out Of Touch" Pretty much the whole town to Sonny 4. He awakens to be more like the Lucky of the 90's.  He reads the book The Noticer and uses it as a guide to fix his life. 4) He is diagnosed with a serious, life threatening, yet non fatal disease and after reflecting on his life, decides he does not like who/whom  he has become.5) While leaving the airport, he becomes interested in the robed wearing, daisy pushing, long haired feel good guru. He decides his life as a cop has been a lie he is tired working for the man. He wants to be the man now. And that he must be true to himself and his name as a Spencer.  I realize that 1 and 4 are the only likely options but it was fun to think of the others. 5 reasons Brenda should return to PC. |

Because it is actually enjoyable to root against her (with other villains (i.e. CLAWS, I get annoyed that I hate them, because I hate them so much) 3. She is creepy enough to keep me interested 4. She is a villain that has outlived many other irrelevant villains. It shows how powerful she is, and how great of a threat she is to the characters we love. And that creates suspense and good emotion across the board. 5. Has history with so many of the characters. Give 5 reasons for JJ to stay longer than six months. |
