My theory is that Coop has known it was Logan all along, possibly becuase he did it before in Iraq. And Coop was trying to find a way to stop Logan himself without going to the police.
Now about the fingerprints were they from the actual phone cord or Georgie herself? Maybe Coop tried to save her, he implied somening along the lines of that today when he was talking to Maxie.

1. Letecia was the first victim. Michael would not have killed her.
2. Carly & Em were both strangled @ the ball.
3. Logan & Coop were both @ the ball.
4. The new guy @ Kelly's could have been @ the ball with the catering service. This could have given him an in with Carly's house also.
5. Sam got a TM after she brushed off the new guy @ Kelly's.
6. If it is the new guy @ Kelly's, that could explain the smile on Georgie's face when she saw him coming towards her right before she was strangled. Georgie would not have been afraid of him because they worked together.
7. Coop & Logan were both in Iraq and murders were happening there that Spinelli thought might tie Coop into the TM Murders.
8. So was the strung out guy that got so close to Lainie's dad before his life support was disconnected. But I think he may be in jail or a mental ward before the B&W Ball.
9. It couldn't have been Nicholas or Johnny because they were both indisposed when Alexis was strangled.
10. We have seen Coop send alot of text messages lately.
11. Did anyone notice the footprint on the floor in the ER when LuLu took the anti-biotics for Johnny? It resembled the footprint @ Georgie's murder scene. By the way, the footprint resembles hiking or work boots. But those are not gender specific either. 12. I did see Coop looking @ the DNA test that said he was a match. However, the original could have been switched to frame him.
13. I have no idea who it really is but I think Coop is too obvious & the rumors of his hanging this week are to keep us from guessing the identity of the real killer. It may be Logan because it has never been revealed what he did in Iraq that Rick was holding over his head. It's a sure bet that it isn't Nick or Johnny because of physical issues. I don't think it's Jerry because he's infatuated with Alexis & they would make an interesting couple.
14. I hope it's Scott, he needs to pay for killing Rick Webber. Or the Mayor because I hate his character. Or Trevor, because I'm tired of him too. Maybe it's the mystery guy Jerry keeps talking to. The tat on his shoulder looks familiar but I can't put it with a past character. And by the way, does anyone know where Helena is these days? She would have wanted Carly, Em, Alexis & Sam dead. Letecia could have just been in the wrong place @ the wrong time. However, I can't come up with a connection to Georgie with Helena.
15. BE DONE WITH THIS STORYLINE. We are all tired of it.
16. Lastly, Please let Em & Georgie be in a safe house instead of really being dead.
