WB, you are a great poster, I enjoy reading your posts! It was just that some posts in that thread did get out of hand and were actor bashing. |

The fact is you're on thin ice when you're posting about what an actor might think about his character or his storyline. We really have no way of knowing that; it's all conjecture. The actors are reading the lines they're given. They have no input into story direction (except perhaps the big stars and even then, I imagine it's minimal). They can't control what fanbases think about them. |

A lot of people HATE Claudia's character, but they love SJB, so Claudia's a little more tolerable. I can't imagine Claudia would still be on the canvas if another actress was playing her. I think the reason why BB took such a hit was because his character did something that soooo many fans hated and were upset about. The interview came off like he was happy with the new hated storyline, which upset fans even more. I'm not saying it's right. I'm just saying it is. By the way, I appreciate ghfanfare's posts about the actor bashing. I had to go edit one of my posts that I JUST put up because it could've been considred actor bashing. Sometimes, us passionate fans forget and need reminding! I see what you are saying, but I think realistically everything they say has to be something that their employer would approve of. Some actors like SB could get away with saying what he really feels because he definitely has job security. I would not expect to hear BB say he hates his s/l with Maxie and what his character did to Lulu, it could mean the end of his job if he did not promote what that writers were giving him. What he says about his character bares no affect on what I think of him as a person. As I said before, he's just a guy doing his job and trying to keep his job I'm sure.  I definitely agree that it would be crazy for him to publicly blast his current storyline. That would be career suicide. I guess it's just such a fine balance of stroking the fans and not upsetting the higher ups in the process. Like I joked in the other thread--BB might want to spend some time with the P.R. rep for GH. It might help him not get such negative feedback from fans. |

They can't control what fanbases think about them. Honestly, outside of saying Brandon Barash is a hottie (a truism), IMHO it's better to not post about the actors at all. It's better to stick to the characters and their stories... ITA, I think praising an actor for a good performance is acceptable too, but the actor should be left out of discussions for the most part. It is none of our business how they feel about their job or their s/l. It is not relevant who they are friends with on or off set or who they prefer working with. I feel this way about all of the cast, not just BB. |

I am supporting Johnny 100%. If the writers screwed him up, they can fix him. All he has to do is become totally honest with Lulu and beg her forgiveness. |

I'm glad to see we didn't have to see Johnny run to Claudias call today. It's funny, Lulu is supposed to be the one too weak for the mob, but Claudia is the one who can't handle it. All she does is botch things up and have Johnny rescue her. I think AZ was right all along, the mob is no place for her. |

Hopefully when Michael wakes up we can see the real Johnny come back. Not just Claudias lap dog. He needs to let her fix her own mistakes. |

He loves his sister but she's her own worst enemy and its time that he stops being dragged into her stupidy through association. I also loved how he uncomfortable he was around Lulu yet couldn't keep glancing at her. I'm glad that BB is getting decent airtime, I love watching him. As for comments he made, I thought he was very diplomatic. |

It was really low of Claudia to ask Johnny to kill Rick. He spend all of the summer and most of the fall beating murder charges, and now she wants him to really commit murder. She doesn't care about her brother at all, all she's thinking of is herself and I'm getting really tired of her whining. I seriously don't know who is worse, her or Maxi. It's very close in my opinion. |

I'm so tired of her mouthing off that she's so wonderful and Lulu can't hack it in the mob when every thing Claudia does proves she shouldn't be near the register at Walmart let alone working in the mob. Another case of the writers thinking if they have enough characters catterwalling about something we'll believe it w/o seeing proof on our screens. Sorry, but if you have to keep telling me two people are attracted to each other and that someone is really great at mob stuff, then there's no attraction or skill to speak of. This is TV, not a radio program, show me or shut up about it. |

As much as I hate Alien Johnny right now, I do belevie yesterdays gag fest was closure for JoMax. Where they go from here is anyones guess. But if I have to hear Clauda plead on the phone "Johnny i need you", I think I am going to throw something at the tv. I find her even more pathetic than Maxi. |

Wow! Here I am posting in the Johnny Fan Thread. I liked him for the first time in a very long time this week. I enjoyed his scenes at the apartment with Maxie. (I also enjoyed seeing Fierce Johnny kicking the you-know-what out of the mugger.) In the apartment scenes, he had a lost quality about him. He was seeking comfort but not finding it. I felt his confusion and loss. |

If they were going to break Jolu up for Jomax this is how it should have started. I said this in another thread but if they want to pair these two, they need to take the sleeze out of it and do it a little slower. They are both attracted to each other so why not. I’m not a big Maxie fan, but if they would just tame her down a bit and put her in a relationship with just one person whether it be Johnny/Spin or Matt, she would be more tolerable for me. |
