As much as we want Johnny to win out over Sonny we have to take into consideration that Maurice has been on the show for a long time and I don't think TPTB will let an actor of 3 monthes totally overpower him. Maybe just do some damage. Hopefully they will continue to give BB enough lines to make a good showing. I see Lulu being a good reason for them to eventually come to a agreement of sorts. Sonny did go to Johnny with a sort of peace offering, if they both agree to eliminate Trevor. And I think that is Johnnys goal too.

I just have to say I absolutely love Johnny....he is going to play the game his way, with his rules....Sonny and Trevor beware....they have things to lose Johnny doesn't. They think they will get the upper hand with Johnny and it's not going to happen....Liked the fact that Johnny never backed down or felt intimadated by Sonny or Trevor.....

Gen....what do ya think of Johnny, did he reel you in yet???

At first Johnny wanted to get away from the business but now I think he really wants to stay. Even though he did not trust Sonny today once he had money in hand he could really take off. I think he is honest to Lulu when he says "I don't know anything else". It seems Johnny is lacking in social skills being in an enviornment of a mean, nasty, killer father.

Trevor and Johnny vying to be in control. At least Johnny has got his number and I especially liked when he said “Who should I fear most, my fathers enemies or his friends”. Nice of Jason to confirm Johnny really wants to run the business and give him advice about Trevor. Like Johnny said he either runs the business or becomes Trevor’s puppet and that will never happen, so it looks like Johnny is willing to die trying. He returns Jason forthrightness by saying he will not hesitate to kill Jason if Jason tries to take him out. Johnny tells it like it is and shows he is fighting for his life and inheritance and will do anything to keep it. I am sure the conversation gave Jason a lot of food for thought in regard to Jake. Also, even though he knows this will be a war between Trevor and Johnny if a chance arises Jason will help Johnny take Trevor down. Especially if Carly mentions her conversation with Johnny and Johnny risks his life to save Lulu, again, next week.

Though I doubt Johnny would let anyone control him......in the long run, it may serve him better to let Trevor thinks he has the control right now......is a better way for Johnny to get what he wants.....

As for the Jason aspect of it.....I see it being adversarial with a grudging respect for each other.....if Johnny is to be a rival mob boss, I'd like GH to truly flesh him out......which they have done upto a point here......

Also, just because Sonny thinks Johnny is crazy doesn't mean much, especially since Sonny is not the most sane person himself......and really the crazy skeazy dude has no room to judge any one else.....

As for Johnny on his own, I really like watching him reel Lulu in by showing disinterest......it makes the chase even better......Johnny's interactions with Carly also present a very good aspect of him......and could add much depth to his story......plus, many more plot twists......

Actually, I guess this puts me in the minority, but I prefer Jason and Johnny being on opposing sides.....I think, that there are more interesting stories to tell there.....but what is most fascinating to me is his links to Lulu and Carly and the fact that despite everything, none of these women are willing to write him off yet.....

As for people not liking Johnny, could be Logan fans as well as those who believe that instead of introducing new characters and more Mob-centric storylines, it might actually be better to bring back the veteran actors and tie up loose ends.....those are both valid reasons for disliking Johnny......

But BB is so charismatic that he overcomes those ngative reviews very easily and has really outshone in these last few months......he has really great chemistry with almost all involved in his storyline and he is one of the few younger actors and characters who seems to hold his own against Carly, Sonny and Jason.....

So all in all, one of the best casting and writing decisions TPTB ever made.....

Rain really you see Jason and Johnny being on opposing sides in the long run?????

I don't know....Jason I think actually has a read on Johnny, and even shown Johnny a bit of trust...I don't know if I would see them as being friends but more of a common ground...Jason doesn't speak down to Johnny but rather to him....I do see Johnny maybe wanting to let everyone know he is not anyone's muppet...although Trevor thinks that is exactly what Johnny will do....But Johnny degrudgingly is taking over his fathers business and I have a feeling he will run it completely different. Jason is at the point where is just doesn't want anymore conflict and I think is going to be playing peace maker as much as possible.
