In the Sonny scenes I see Sonny trying to see into the mind of Johnny to envision how his son Michael will be affected by growing up with a mobster as a father. His statements like “this is your fathers life, why wouldn’t you want something different, I will set you up with money, protection , start a new life somewhere else, were all things he would want for his son.
However, to Johnny it was an insult. He does not trust Sonny. He saw Sonny as trying to buy off the competition, thinking Johnny is a pushover for Trevor. That’s why he make it clear and said “Don’t worry about Trevor, worry about me. "If you don’t get out of my way I will take you down." With the Zacchara family fractured, Sonny and the other crime families can move in. Of course Sonny can promise Johnny the world and kill him when he is on his own with no family backing, he has said to Jason that Johnny has to be severely affected by his upbringing. Thinks Johnny could of strangled Carly and then rescue her, to throw them off, to create an illusion.
There is a saying someone once told me “Believe nothing that you hear and only half of what you see” Evidently both Sonny and Johnny heard the same thing.

In the Lulu scenes she was trying to convince Johnny to get away from this life after all he is rich and can do anything. He was happy about her concern. However, he does not want to admit he has no money or choice (which he doesn’t because his father is not dead yet and his fathers money is tangled up with the mobs money. He will not get it if he walks away) so he is trying to act like this is want he wants. To push her further away he insults her by saying “Who gives a dam about some island in Canada, unless you want me to buy you one? Meaning, if you want to be my mistress. Of course when she walks away he shows his real feelings for her. He likes her a lot. He almost had tears in his eyes.

Johnny is now my main man!!!!

In today's showdown with Sonny , he really stood his ground....and he treated Lulu like a normal person and not the Spencer that everyone else does......

Johnny showed a very cold, very intelligent side of himself.....and even though I would have wanted him to do something else with his life....him becoming a Mobster has been one of my secret wishes.........

Johnny is young, smart, capable, compassionate, ruthless and cruel in equal measures.......

He is everything that I want to see in GH, especially if they're going the Mob-war route.....

And today, Johnny showed that he is upto the task of being a great rival to Sonny and Jason.....

OMG so SB is going to be playing.......Angela Zacchara, Johnny's sister & Anthony's daughter!

It says she loves her brother but hates Trevor!

She will also have alot of interactions with Sonny & Jason!

I liked the way Johnny stood up to Sonny and showed no fear. He really looked vibrant and strong standing there throwing his verbal weight around. Sonny is going to have trouble if he doesn't make peace with Johnny.

Finally, Sonny has some real competition! I just hope tptb dont muck this up. It has been spoiled that not only is Trevor possibly Johnny's father but that Maria Zacharra and Adela Corinthos are sisters, which will make some interesting story.

I think that before BB got a contract and became popular, he was maybe supposed to have a sister who dropped in. But now that he is a contract player, they may have changed some story lines around.

I totally love JZ but I was hoping he and Jason would become friends. I wonder how this is going to play out.
