General Hospital - MESSAGE BOARDS

I've watched GH, off and on, for over 25 years. When Cooper Barrett appeared on the screen I stopped using my FF button on the remote. The chemistry between Cooper and Maxie is phenomenal and I don't understand by TPTB at GH ignore it.

He's been on the canvas since February with the "famous" last name of Barrett and we've gotten NO BACKSTORY!!

I believe Cooper is the son AJ Quartermaine and Julia Barrett. I keep picturing the interaction between Cooper and the Quartermaines AND just imagine their reaction when they learn he was "3" and partially responsible for Alan's death. In addition, Jason would be responsible for involving another of AJ's sons with the mob.

Jason Gerhardt is the first actor I've EVER written a fan letter too. I keep watching GH in the hopes that he is on and I continue to write in support.

I absolutely adore Jason Gerhardt. I started watching GH in 2005, when Kirsten joined the show, but found myself bored with it. I tuned-in in February just in time to meet 'Three.' I was hooked after that. He has so much potential, if only the writers would recognize it and give him more screen time (instead of giving it all to Logan and Lulu).
I am a big fan of Maxie and Coop, they balance each other out. If only they weren't being used as a prop for L&L3, Coop is so much better than that.

I can't wait until they dive into his backstory, I've been saying this for a long time, so hopefully they will bring it up soon. Like a lot of people here, I want to know how he is related to the Barretts, what happened in Iraq, and what shaped him into the person that he is.

Why not a Lulu/Coop pairing??? She could help him investigate his past and play both sides just like a true Spencer.

I absolutely LOVE Jason G! I think he is an amazing actor and GH just hasn't given him a full chance yet. Maxie and Jesse were my favorite couple!! and i was SOO upset when they killed Jesse! Now Cooper And Maxie are my favorites!! and if they kill him off i will stop watching GH, i may even stop watching if Coop ends up with Lulu... i believe WAYY too many people worship Lulu we don't need to see anymore of the "I love Lulu" show.

I just adore Jason/Coop!! They seriously need to give us more Coop. He needs a better s/l. I was soo happy when he dumped Maxie! He deserves so much better-JMO. At first I wanted him to end up w/ Lulu but now not so sure. I still don't want Lulu w/ Logan the jerk but now they have brought this Johnny Z into the picture as well for Lulu.
Anyway TPTB definetly need to give us his background and a lot more screen time.
Oh yeah, I could kind of see Coop becoming the next Jason. definite possibilites there. Hey maybe he could take Jason's place as 'the enforcer' to help Jason step back and take a less visual role in the mob.
Ooh baby that works for me!! Knock two birds out w/ one stone!! Oh, the possibilites.

Seriously, give the boy something to do already!

OK so since I know Jason personally I really would like him to stay on the show!

Since the Lady Barrett, is out of the hospital maybe we can find out the mystery behind Coop, and what cause him to work for Jerry, he seem's to be a nice guy, someone who you would want to hold on ( to bad Maxie) Jason G/Patrick I think they tied him down to fast with Robin, it's good, we get to see who the real Patrick Drake is, I would like to see him with Ley, for a while.

Coop? HOT is riiiiiiiiight. Do something with him.
