Jason Gerhardt has played Coop since February's Metro Court hostage crisis. How do you guys feel about him (Coop or Jason!)

My two-cents worth (but I'm a little jaded since I've interviewed him and he is so very nice):

I'd love to see more of his back story, Coop as the go between for Ric and Sonny isn't enough for me. I want him to get a backbone and a better storyline. However, never mind, he dumped Maxi so he has the backbone part down! As for Jason, I'm sure he can pull of a major storyline - let's get him one!

Me too, I've liked that character since he came on. But tptb seem to have left him in favor of Logan (who does nothing for me). Does the last name Barrett mean he's related to someone we know? I think tptb are looking for a suitable mate for him. Maxie is too one-not for a longterm relationship. Lulu is being used betw. Logan and Johnny Z. Georgie is for Spin, although I think they'll end up being a bit one-note too. Maybe they'll SORAS Serena Baldwin and have become involved with the youth contingent.

I like both the actor and the character (when he's on). I agree that he needs a better storyline than just defending Maxie. I didn't mind them as a couple; I just wish she'd leave my Logan and Lulu alone! That's a different story though. Anyways, I think he's a gorgeous actor with a beautiful body. He has acting potential and I am hoping he will get a better story. I read a while back that he will be related to Brenda possibly as Harlan's son (Brenda's half brother) or Julia's son (Brenda's nephew).

I really like him. BTW thanks for that interview! It squashed rumors of him being killed off, at least for me. Since he talked about his new shiny contract! I'm glad that GH snatched him up. It feels like they have a purpose for him but there's so much other stuff going on they're kind of putting him to the back burner until things calm down. I like all the stuff going on so I don't mind so much. As long as he eventually is pushed up for a bigger s/l.

He is my favourite male character on GH, besides Luke ofcourse!!!

He deserves a tie-in to the whole Barrett saga.........he sure has the acting chops for it.........I prefer him over Logan everytime........

The whole terrorist turned cop turned mob mole is totally working for him..........I want him to hook-up with someone who will give him more screen-time..........my fantasy pairing would be Elizabeth-Cooper cos they're both so hot!!!!

I know, I know.......it sounds more like Demi and Ashton, but they would so rock it!!!!

Also Cooper dumping Maxie was the best thing ever, get him someone who's actually good for him!!!!

I love and adore and worship him. He has the body of a greek god, the heart of a lion, but he's still kind of a bad guy... Sound like any other show favorites. Ummm, ya coop could be "Jason 2007" he is that loveable, delightful, and gorgeous! I cant beleive Logan has a bogger storyline than Coop, I think if they gave him a chance he could totally be a leading man. He has a very Jagger Cates quality to him! Cant say enough good things, except lets move along his heritage storyline already. Viewers noticed in March that his last name is Barrett, HWY HAS NO ONE IN PORT CHARLES NOTICED???? Also I am really hoping that he turns out to be Julia and A.J,.'s son so he becomes the new Q... The Quartermanes are practicly extinct on GH I think they could use a lil fresh blood.

I guess I am the odd one out.. But his character bores me! I was intrigued and interested when he was sort of playing both fields (Ric and Sonny) but then they got him in this mess with Maxie/Logan/Lulu and he's just been boring since then!

I could see a lot of potential for his character if only the writers give him more to do than playing Maxie's second fiddle!

I think he is better looking than SB (SB is goodlooking but JG is better, lol) and they need to put his character on the front burner. Right now, he is boring the heck out of me, but I do love that he kicked Maxi to the curb and doesn't give in to her at all.

I also liked coop when they first brought him on the show I really thought he would be a great asset. Then they paired him up with Maxie which I didn't like the two of them together. Then they brought logan on and seemed to push coop to the rear burner. I think that logan should be with maxie, I do not llike the logan/lulu s/l. I like coop much more then logan although I too agree right now he is boring. In my opinion get rid of logan and put coop with lulu and I think they could make a great couple. Maybe coop will save lulu from Johnny and she will choose coop over both those chumps. JMO

Cooper Barrett is beyond sexy and they dont utilize it enough. I was totally digging the "Departed" knock-off storyline the writers had started, but I dont know what happened to the momentum. And I love Logan, but Logan should be playing the monkey to Coop's fiddler, clearly Coop is the superior actor and leading man so I am not realy sure what is going on there. I would love to see a LOOP relationship (lulu/coop) because I am absolutley hating this Johnny Z. Lulu situation (why is she being such an IDIOT! I liked her much better when she was cold and untrusting.) But what I would REALLY love to see is a Carly/Coop pairing... I know its a lil March-December but Coop is like the perfect combination of Jason/Jax/Sonny and he is SO hott! Just something to think about.

I wouldnt kick him out of bed for eating crackers....
