But, to see someone say a charactor only did XYZ because the writters made them makes me go  Not trying to start a fight - the comment just seemed, I don't know, a bit odd I guess. Oh yeah, I know what you mean. If the writers didn't write it then we didn't see it on the TV. So we can only go with that (as far as the show goes)...but of course we can always hope. And I always wonder what WOULD have been or what maybe was actually taped but ended up on the editing room floor that would explain more, etc... And yet, there is so much we are expected to assume that isn't on TV or written. That's the gray area we all look at differently at times. well gh really needs to stop the slashing of the film that ends up on the editors floor. cause there have been alot of missing scenes.. they are getting better at finishing lines and keeping stuff lately..  gh is slowly improving..

For now I'm going with what I actually see happening on the screen and by what Guza is saying in interviews! As far as what others got or will get again, Liason has a 10-yr friendship and a son they'll always share. They're only apart b/c the writers made it that way. I never mentioned Liz&Jason spec, but if you choose to bring them in I guess I can mention them too. Yes they do have a FRIENDSHIP that as lasted many years. The so called romantic relationship that everyone thinks they saw, never really was (so I know what you mean~THEY were obviously not intended to be a "long-or even short-haul pairing) As far as having a child, it is completely OBVIOUS by the history on this and every other soap that a child made together (especially one from a Drunken One Night Stand) does not make a relationship, even a forced one...And I guess your reason for them being apart can be used for ANY couple, including JaSam. JaSam only broke up because the writers made them and NOW the writers have put them back together, where they belong... |

Or better yet, it's like how some see Jason as acting strangely compared to what we've known from him for years and others think he's right on target with his personality. Perception is a funny thing. |

Perception is a funny thing. yeah i totally agree. sometimes when i read something.. or see something.. its like was that what i thought it was. no it couldnt be. its amazing what perception is.. thats why i love liason ten years and its still strong and going. |

I wanted to comment on this but I knew someone would probably address it. To me, "bc the writers wrote it that way" is said when the commenter can't explain it with a character's typical behavior or the history of the show. Then it just becomes a WTF moment, Oh well I guess the writers decided to change direction. Hopefully you never see an actor acting, right? You are just able to sink into the performance and suspend the rest of the world for a while. Same with the writing... you don't want to see the 'writing' when you watch a show. You want it to flow and not make your brain suddenly go 'that's not right!!' just my 2 cents.

Hmm correct me if I am wrong, I thought that using names other than the character played on the show was against board guidelines in fact, here is the specific rule, don't preach on something you yourself don't practice, it could be a LITTLE bit hypocritical don't ya think?? I think Jason probably listens to music like Metallica or Motorhead when he's working out. He seems like he'd be into alternative or heavy metal. I would bet he does not loufa or even use body wash. He's probably a Irish Spring bar soap kind of guy with a plain old wash cloth. What say you? That's funny because Lucky asked him today what his fave music was and he didn't answer but I am willing to bet Jason is a Pearl Jam type of guy. As for in the shower..................................... (sorry got side tracked with the soaping up) umm I'd say he's a body wash guy...but a MANLY scented body wash like the Irish Spring. I'd also say he uses Axe deodorant, Axe spray, Gillette aftershave, Colgate mint toothpaste, flosses everyday, has a blue toothbrush, uses an electric razor and got2b hair gel and hairspray! I'd be even willing to bet someone comes over and gives him a mani/pedi every other week (he of course couldn't go outside the house to do THAT). He probably likes Downy for his laundry..especially his sheets and towels and wears rubber gloves to do his dishes!
