We already know that to Spin and Sam Jason can do no wrong.

He can do no wrong in their eyes b/c they have their blinders on. That scene HAS to mean something, if it doesn't why even put it in there? To my recollection he's never done that b4. IMO there was no need for this stupid cover-up in the 1st place as Michael was clearly protecting Claudia/Jocelyn!!

See and the point you brought up Ali, is some of the reason I love Jason...we the viewers know what/who he is...Now on the show others outlook on Jason may differ HOWEVER it doesn't always matter because Jason sees himself a certain way...Sweet Spin and others think Jason can do NO wrong..AND?? What about those that do think he can do/does wrong and have the muster to tell him yet loving him despite those flaws...There are NO excuses needed for Jason's actions being that he doesn't really seem to take them into account anyway!!

I do miss the Jason that has been shown in the past to want to be a better man, even if he understands that he may have to stay within the mob!!

I'm glad I'm not the only one wondering why they even tried a cover-up. Michael was protecting his mother and baby sis...Considering the number of people that witnessed Claudia take Carly...It really wouldn't go to trial... A DA worth it's salt would consider it Justifiable and that would be that. Alas, writers trying to make it more melodramatic than it needed to be...just like Lulu killing Logan. (yeah, I know, it's a soap, melodramatic is the special of the day... just would be nice to have simple things happen once in a while)
