Well Wishing...:You can't really compare Robin and Sam. That is like comparing apples and oranges. Yes, Jason was in love with Robin and they had a wonderful relationship, but Sam is a totally different person. I know that you and I will disagree with this, but I honestly believe that Sam is the one and only true love of Jason's life. Jason didn't forgive Sam overnight. It took a couple of years before the ice thawed between those two. The writers took it slowly between them. They have done everything in their power to redeem Sam and since Jason loved Sam so deeply and Jason KNEW Sam better than anyone has ever known her and since Jason and Sam were in a real, loving relationship for a few years, I don't find it too hard to believe that Jason would forgive Sam now. Just because he handled the Robin situation differently and took longer to forgive her, doesn't mean that he should do that with any other woman he feels betrayed by. Every situation is different and unique and these situations with Jason/Robin and Jason/Sam are NO different. Jason is also a lot older now and has learned more in life and has become a more mature/responsible person since his days with Robin. Robin may have been his first love, but Sam is the love of his life. She is the ONLY woman who has fully accepted his lifestyle and loves him unconditionally and Jason knows and accepts and loves all of Sam's flaws and loves her unconditionally. If the writers would have made Jason show feelings of "hate" towards Sam in one episode and then, in the next episode, had Jason forgive Sam....then, NO...that would not have worked or have been believable. We have seen the journey of their love being tested and the writers had to do the worst thing imaginable to break them up.....that way, they could give Liason a try and see if they could work and bring in the numbers. Well, liason didn't do the job. They tanked. As a matter of fact, all of GH was at an all-time low. The writers knew that with Sam and Jason, they had the real deal, so they had to gradually rebuild their "friendship" and trust. They finally got to the point where they realized that their feelings for one another never went away. In my opinion, one of the best things that the writers could have possibly done, was reunite Jason and Sam. Now, it just seems so right and so much more natural than when we were forced to watch Jason pretend to be "in love" with Liz. If the writers wanted to sell that, then they should have Jason fall in love with liz without her becoming pregnant, because even that didn't make Jason fall in love with her. It took his nasty break-up with Sam and the terrible OOC things that Sam did, before Jason saw Liz in a different light, but then again, that "love-story" didn't work, so the writers went back to what worked......JASON WITH SAM!!!

IMO JnR ARE different from JaSam b/c Sam crossed the line putting his OWN CHILD in harms' way and not once but twice. That gun may not have been loaded but Liz sure didn't know that!! Robin betraying Jason w/Michael was bad enough and it took him 10 yrs to forgive her but now they have an great friendship that I enjoy. Jason is NOT the kind who goes back to a woman who's put a child in that kind of danger, that is just not him, not to mention HIS OWN. It's just not believable.
