Poor Jason, all the way down to page 3!! What is this world coming to?!!!

I still love him regardless of his apparent OOC-ness, brain damage that is just now catching up with him how many years later?, and clouded vision!!

Hope he has some good scenes today!!!!!

Ya'll are being a bit cruel don't you think?

We are allowed to have our opinions without being criticized and ridiculed by other posters. (And some of you really surprised me and some of you REALLY didn't)

So what if I don't think like you do.

And if others think Jason is being written out of character, so what? They have that right as Jason fans to state as such in this thread.

I've just read a whole page of obvious mocking, baiting and ridicule for thinking that Jason acts out of character.

I happen to be one of those that thinks Jason has been "written" out of character or maybe a better term is differently than the character has been presented to us in the past. He cannot tell a liar when they lie right to his face. He puts up with BS that Jason would normally not put up with. He's more forgiving with ALL others than he normally would be. He DID miss at the carnival (which I have stated I think was the writers trying to be funny ~ well HaHa...to me Jason Morgan would have been able to adjust for the carni guns)

Oh and it has nothing to do with the fact that he's not with Elizabeth. It has to do with the fact that I have seen the change in Jason Morgan, the character. I feel quite slighted by some on this board that feel I cannot think past a pairing or that I only have opinions based on that particular pairing.

So, as you mock and ridicule ME and others that feel differently than you do just be sure you don't actually BASH me. Cause that gets you banned from this message board because we have rules and guidelines to keep posters from being treated poorly by others.

I'm allowed as a member of this website to have my own opinions. Even if it doesn't "go with the flow" or even if it differs from others on here or that write for the show.

I love Jason..."real" or "OOC" and I get to be a fan and participate in this thread.

No, make no mistake...I don't take offense easily. (Partly because ya'll don't really effect my world ~ that sounds cruel but it's true...this is a message board and I'm a tough old bird)

The trend was there though. It was like that ball that starts rolling and gets bigger and bigger. I was just pointing out that everyone has rights to post opinions on this board and not be mocked.

And yes, Jane Doe...I think more of us should look at what we write before hitting the send post button. I check myself regularly but have had to eat crow plenty of times too.

Ok I'm going to go out on a limb here and post how "I" saw that scene (I admit I haven't read all posts but some are so silly that I just skimmed over them).

IMO it was crazy of Jason to have put a gun to her anyways since she was holding Carly. Claudia could have freaked out and shot Carly anyways JUST BECAUSE Jason had a gun on her. Would Jason have held a gun to her in a room full of people (one being Robin who he respects more than many people, who he KNOWS HATES them) while someone held a pregnant woman at gunpoint, no.

Do I think he would have got a shot off, NEVER, because she was holding Carly. Had she not been holding Carly, would he have got a shot off, possibly but we don't know. Either way, IMO, I think it was silly of Jason to do that in a room full of innocent people. If people don't agree with me, I am ok with that and I will STILL sleep tonight!

As for those making fun of others who are saying Jason is OOC, well isn't it THEIR choice to think that way? Do they have to be mocked and made fun of? I seem to recall two years ago the OUTRAGE being said of Sam's character being shown as OOC and that was the ONLY reason that she could have POSSIBLY acted that way (though now the excuse is she was hurt so she really WASN'T OOC?), not to mention the ONLY time that Jason was seen my many was when he was with Liz (why he has been a part of her life for 10 years) why not allow it to be seen by Jason fans that he is OOC? Btw, MOST of these comments were made by many of the same people who are now commenting that Jason is NOT OOC. I guess he's only OOC when it's convenient.

I'm not making this into a Sam vs Liz thing but perhaps showing that if it can be said about one character or onw storyline, why can't it be said about another character or storyline without the smarmy comments being said about another person's OPINION?? You don't feel Jason is OOC, that's fine and that's how you feel and congrats but others do! I happen to be one of them but I am also hoping it is storyline related in the near future so I will wait and see.

I thought we all got past the point of this kind of stuff. I thought we all agreed that these kind of things were not necessary anymore but it that only when it's "convenient" or when "certain people" need to cry wolf? Carry on!
