Did you see Steve's tweet on his San Antonio show? Those tickets are really expensive and San Antonio is a smaller market. I wonder if he's having a tough time selling or if he's just taken these past few days to sell sell sell...cause he's sold wine, Bradford's show and now his. |

I have this terrible fear that if I were to meet him or any of my favorite soap stars (or any star I guess) I would then not like them or not be able to look at them as the character anymore. Now for the first part of your question...it has been said that he can make up to around $10,000 for a weekend of shows...like the ones he's doing in NY/NJ/PA 4 shows...not a bad haul. so if that's the case...then say $2K approx for the San Antonio show...$2k for 3 hrs...10% for your manager...so $1,800 for the show or $600 per hour. I could work with that. |

I posted this in another thread but w/e. I am loving them, but I'm only on the fence because of JJ, and I don't know where they will take that. If I knew that there was no chance of a Liz/Lucky (JJ) reunion, then I would let it die in my mind and whole-heartedly jump on the Niz train. And even if the writers try to put LL2 back together, who is to say that it would work or be better than Niz? So I guess it is a wait and see situation for me. It is a little frustrating though. |

Theres one lady that apparently is at nearly every one of his PA's. I wish I had disposable income like that. $150. per ticket...cripes...that's a summer electric bill in florida for me. |

There weren't these HUGE debates when Jason was with Sam before because before Sam HADN'T betrayed Jason in this way but she DID so NOW there are debates. How can you even make a statement like that and say IT IS TRUE when in fact it's what YOU think, not necessarily what others KNOW? The fact that you are speaking for hundreds of thousands of people I think you are thinking too much of yourself and what YOU THINK because you have NO IDEA how all those people think and while there may be some that DO think that way, I would say the ratio, just from who I've talked to from this board itself, is 98% don't think that way. As for the others that think as you do, they too are ALSO completely wrong! If you want to THINK THAT, go right ahead but please don't say "that's how it is" when you have NO IDEA how it is. |

(: I have no issue with Jason's horizons being broadened but I want to see WHY he is acting as he is. Some people don't care about things like that, but "I" do because that is how Jason has ALWAYS been. When he moves from point A to point Z, we are shown WHY. Jason isn't a regular character but is one that is challenged and is complex because his brain isn't as a "normal" person's is and to just change him for the sake of story for no reason, yes, to me, that raises questions. When Jason went to see Liz at home instead of going to kill Alcazar like Sonny told him to, I, as a Liz and Liason fan, said "what the heck is he doing, why isn't he doing as Sonny told him to because this isn't Jason? He could still do what had to be done regarding Alcazar and THEN go to see Liz" (as a Liz fan I CAN call out his OOC moments while he wasn't with Sam). I think that having Jake changed Jason IMMENSELY and then having Jake not be a part of his life, ALSO changed him IMMENSELY, the PROBLEM is, we didn't SEE him changing, he just DID. Ok we got the walk around the carnival with the music as his "oh my life is all messed up" as the explanation....sorry that's not enough for THIS viewer. It may be to others but not me (and I would assume not to the others that have complained about Jason's behaviour). See to me, Jason isn't just about a couple or a mobster and I think THAT is where a lot of differing opinions lie. MANY see Jason as Sam's potential boyfriend and a mobster and are happy with that and that's fine if they think that way and that's all they need to be happy. To me, Jason is a Q, a brother, an uncle, a son, a grandson, he is a father (in the blood and heart sense), he has been a husband, he is a friend to many and we have seen the many relationships of his life shape him to who he was but who he WAS is missing. All those relationships aren't even a part of him anymore. His life consists of revenge and sex (this is what we are seeing onscreen). We don't see Jason visiting his family (since they have now all reconciled and yes he DID visit his family before, even if it was just for a short scene), we don't see him thinking things out, instead we get a man that yells at his friends, wants to kill someone over, at the time, was nothing but a hunch (again not Jason's way) and is more concerned with having sex than a life (not a dig on Sam just how I am taking things SO FAR). Jason, to me, has become Sonny....but WHY? What have they shown us that has Jason for TWELVE YEARS being one way and SUDDENLY he becomes another. THIS is how the theories of him being injured in Mexico come into play. |

I can see why you may feel this way Katie and can also agree that there may be some people that may find Jason out of character because of who he is paired with but your statement is all about "knowing" wording it as that is why MOST if NOT all have an issue with Jason...You and some others may have that opinion but that is all that really is!! It is an opinion NOT a fact!! Just because I like a certain pair doesn't mean I am blinded or my objectivity is lost because it...overall I am a Jason fan...I have enjoyed almost every single relationship that Jason has been in even if it wasn't my first choice!! There have been things I like about Jason and others that I don't care for, but the bottom line for me was there was some sort of staples of Jason's core, I could at least "follow" and get why he made the choices he did!! If Jason was making some of the decisions he is regardless of who he is with or even by himself, I would have to question the way the character is NOW being written!! |
