Quote meeganxd: YOU KNOW THAT SHE'S NO GOOD Despite attempting to jump on the Amy Winehouse beehive bandwagon, Sam McCall remains a horrible character LOS ANGELES--After a tumultuous four years that found her character sleeping with two men in one night, being a kept woman to a local mobster, wasting precious hours in an inane ballroom dancing plot, killing several men in self defense and sleeping with her mother's husband, the notion that Samantha "Sam" McCall is in any way, shape or form, was killed. "You know, it wasn't easy, coming up with ways to completely decimate Sam as a character," a General Hospital writer, who wishes to remain anonymous, remarks. "No matter what we did, Kelly Monaco managed to bring some sort of charm to the role and people still liked her". Writers knew that drastic measures must be taken to ensure that the character was stripped of all positive attributes. "Yes, of course we wanted to see Sam stripped", a statement from the office of Brian Frons said. When told that the statement was referring to a metaphorical stripping of good qualities and not of clothing, the next statement released was a concise, "Well...then, no comment". Viewers tuning into the "Who Kidnapped Baby Jake" story line on General Hospital today saw Sam having a flashback to the day the baby was taken, where she creepily lurked in the park like a creep, watching Maureen steal the baby. Her repeated lies about her knowledge of the kidnapping, coupled with a horrific scene in which she remarked to the distraught Liz that, with the loss of Liz's child, they were "even, marked the end of Sam's reign as a character that people could root for. "It's pretty awesome," the unnamed GH writer exclaims. "I don't know why we want people to hate Sam, but we do, and it's going to be near impossible for her to rebound from this. I mean, she [expletive] with the kid of the Port Charles messiah. You don't [expletive] with the kid of the Port Charles messiah!" The writer continues, "We're not sure what the fallout is going to be, we haven't written that yet...we usually write scripts the morning that they're being filmed. But I'm pretty sure we're going to learn that Alexis is at fault in some way because, you know...it's Alexis". this was in 2007 WTF?! why did they want to demolish sam.. (: but sam can bounce back, KEMO has proven that. HaHa! OMG I think I need a subscription Fair Samantha is still our #1 Goddess! |

Ok I asked a question in the JaSam thread before I realized it was all about Sam, so I thought I would ask it here as well for those that don't go to the JaSam thread. |

Quote Taye322: Ok I asked a question in the JaSam thread before I realized it was all about Sam, so I thought I would ask it here as well for those that don't go to the JaSam thread. I just read some interesting history about Alexis, namely her witnessing Helena slashing her mothers throat. If Alexis and Sam sat down and had a heart to heart, Alexis telling Sam about all the things she went thru with Helena and the Cassadines and Sam telling Alexis about her childhood and the things she endured. Do you think it would bring them closer as mother and daughter and maybe help them to understand each other better? Not that they've showed much of it onscreen, but I believe they HAVE covered much of this ground - at least background on the Cassadine family for Sam. She knows the legacy, and I'm pretty sure I remember Alexis telling her that she didn't WANT to give her up - Mikkos MADE her give up the baby (and she was only 16 and totally powerless against him or Helena) and then he fixed it so it looked like her baby died, in case Alexis ever went looking for her. The remaining/residual bad-blood between them is mainly due (in my opinion) to the Ric factor. That's a tough one to let go of, as it was done primarily to inflict as much pain as possible. Add in the whole Jerry mess and it just opens up that old wound. That said? I'm sure they could get past it (if Guza actually LIKED Alexis enough to actually go there). |

He should because there are to many unanswer question's, if they thought they had given Sam to good family and how did she end up with the McCall's, the father, and you know the thing with Ric bother me a lot, repeat story of Carly, but I never believe Ric loved Alexis, it was the power thing, because he knew Kristina, was Sonny daughter without Alexis telling him, it was something to have control over, Sonny, while I think Ric is handsome devil, I believe the only woman he loved was Liz, so Alexis is better off without him. |

Mikkos Cassadine was an evil S.O.B. who couldn't have cared less where Alexis' daughter wound up and HE was the one who made the arrangements. Alexis had no say in the matter. |

It's hilarious, because this could actually be true, in the sense that they did try to character assassinate Sam. However, our Goddess has returned to us! |

Ok so the question because what does Sam really have to do in order for her fans to turn on her..... |
Taye322![]() |
I want Sam to have a family she can count on and can count on her and share good/bad moments with. I want Sam to stop second guessing herself and allowing people like Alexis strip away at her dignity until she feels she's not worth anything and acts as such. I want her to build a solid foundation with Alexis, Nick, Maxie, and other members of PC. I want to see the multidimensional Sam we starting to see during her pregnancy and while she was falling in love with Jason. I want TIIC to give Sam a real story storyline and weave other PC residents into it. |
Moniker1979![]() |
I want GH to stop sacrificing Sam for any other characters and let her be happy for once. |

just hearing Sam talking about her father to Liz today, she still feels those bad memories and you can see what kind of unstable childhood she had, she acts on instinct and she is good at it i just wish as a woman that she never had to go through that but yet again that makes her who she is now |
