Liason fans are happy ,patient and positive .That's one of the things that I have been drawn to the most on this site .I have read many postings and have come to my own conclusion.I choose not to voice them right now because I don't want to tarnish our reputation.On a happy note it is great to see and read all your positive notes on this new thread. Whenever it looks encouraging for our couple I get nervous;I love them together so much.Can't wait for the ILY's. yes all the threads were taken away but we do have this new one started for us..and keep the positive ..Liason will be coming, may take some more time, but they will be here!! |

I was just thinking, before I read your post, how I love this thread because I was just reading another thread of Jasam fans (am I allowed to say that in here?) and realizing that they don't discuss Jason and Sam, they bash Liz and on this one, they actually talk about Liz and Jason and Sam barely gets a mention!!! I find myself trying to defend Liz so much!! Back in the days when Liason first became friends, I have always routed for their friendship and if they become a couple so be it but lately there is so much bashing about things Liz never did that I am constantly defending Liason!!! I hope if they do put them together, it isn't right away, that they figure out their lives, go through what they have to with their break-ups, Jason's trial, whatever happens with the kids, etc. |

Liason scenes and Liason mvids have the ability to take my breath away! The only difference is, I don't care when folks say they have no chemistry. I know what I see. I know what is there. The actors have acknowledged it; journalists acknowledge it. It doesn't matter that bitter non-fans won't validate it. I don't expect them to. I've said it before - I think the folks who spread that "no chemistry" BS are full of it themselves (the BS, that is). Their opinions don't mean squat because they're not coming from a good place to begin with. I think that even a casual watcher of GH can pick up on that "sumthin sumthin" that Liz and Jason have cuz it's there in EVERY. SINGLE. SCENE. And yes, the general irrationality, bitterness, hatefulness and Jerry Springer-esque vibe of the Jasam fanbase has negatively colored my view of the character of Sam. How can you claim to be a fan of a couple and then when they split - you spread Jason-hate with a vengeance? When Liz walked out on Jason b/c he lied about Sonny's death - we didn't turn on her. Nor did we make it all about Jason since he lied in the first place. We were devastated that our couple was no more, but we stayed positive, took comfort in the memories and remained faithful to BOTH halves of Liason. We were patient and hopeful and loyal... "Good things come to those who wait" and all that jazz. Personally speaking, I didn't feel any hate for Courtney when she became a part of Jason's life. I remember anticipating Sonny's reaction to the pairing, enjoying her friendship with Carly and focusing on other parts of GH that I loved.(When I look back on their relationship now - I think they were kinda cheesy - lol - but that's it). If there was some way to gauge the "faithfulness" and "loyalty" of a fanbase, I have no doubt - none whatsoever - that we would chart near the top. And a part of me likes to think that the actors involved know this too and are more than thrilled to finally deliver after all these years. I had asked the question in another thread and most of the Jasam and/or Sam fans are new to the show, the last couple years so they didn't see the Liason past so they are single minded when it comes to their faves! It would be like people who just started watching, love Jax and Carly and have Sonny come in there and they would (possibly) hate Sonny because they don't know (or care to take the time to get to know) their past! Anybody just has to look at the way he looks at her and there is the chemistry. I think others know it's there but choose not to or deny seeing it because they don't want it! There are some ugly Sam fans and are making Sam (the character, not KM) look even worse! |

I hour til showtime!!!! EEEEEEEEEE! I hope that the previews weren't misleading, but I am not getting my hopes up just to be crushed! I guess I am getting used to the SLOWWWWWWWW Burn! HEHE!
