OMG, YES!! I would definitely change that too! Sonny wouldn't see Jason until the next fricking day if I could rewrite this scene! LOL!

I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving weekend. I continued to lurk but tried to take a bit of a break from all of this. I just realized though that something I tried to post from blackberry on Wednesday didn't make it. Even though I'm sure it won't turn out this way - wouldn't it be grand if this whole s/l was a dream of Sam's following the boat explosion?

I think it would make perfect sense then because this is how I think she views the characters. She sees herself like a hero and Elizabeth weak, because she has not really been around Elizabeth during the other times when we have seen her strength. Then, in my scenario, when she wakes up - she can become a cheerleader for Liason. Again, I think this fits with how she was acting pre-November. She reigned in Lucky during the Italy storyline and has tried to be a friend (in her mind) most of this year. Then, when she wakes up she would also know just how miserable Jason and Elizabeth would be without each other and how dangerous it is for Jake to not be with Jason during the Mob War. February sweeps could be the real Mob War with Jason and Elizabeth prepared.

It would make all fanbases happy - because it would help heal the rift between Jason and Sam, would be good for LuSam and Liason in the end. I think it could be the "never before seen" storyline that Guza was rumored to be planning. Instead of the suspected fast forwarding a year, we could rewind back to the boat explosion and have things play out true to the characters. It would just make so much more sense than what we saw last week with Elizabeth's character.

Okay - I know this is wishful thinking, but 'tis officially the season for that now. So, I thought I would share my Liason wish for the day.

Wow, Living! That would be fricking AWESOME if it turned out like that. What a fantastic idea! And it makes sense too that it would be SAM'S dream as she was the one who supposedly looked good through out that whole story line.

Alas, that means of course that it won't happen. But a girl can dream, right?!

And one more - Kudos to RH for playing the scenes so well last week as written. I think it must have been especially hard to do given how upset her fans were about the changes to Elizabeth's character. I can hardly imagine how she must have felt about the character she has portrayed for so long.

That said - I just rewatched the scenes and I am still not so troubled by the way Elizabeth reacted - except for the jumping on "this is because of Jason" bit when the scenes we had seen already showed that she knew this was because of Sonny and that Jason was doing everything to avoid it. This still irks me.

That said, except for the fire, which posed a very different kind of imminent threat to her children, I think this is the first time she's been in that type of a situation where she had to be so torn - fight the bad guys or be there to help her children get through it. As a mother, I know I would struggle with it - yes we momma bears will do anything to keep the bad guys away - but Elizabeth did when she shot the Russian who came into the house (and, apparently, she had already used other bullets to fend off others because they were low on ammo). For the rest of the time, though, she heard and knew that her boys were scared and her heart had to be breaking.

Now, as for what's to come. Only time will tell. But I can't believe that they made Jake be Jason's and spent all this time building them up, including the recent scenes of the almost Italy trip and the walk down the aisle (although on the heels of Sonny's "lesson" that is a double-edged sword), just to not give them their day in the sun. Nor do I believe that they would make SALE in February if this were truly to be the end. Why bother?

Hopefully, the writers will get their acts together and start writing this couple true to their characters again. Really, I just don't understand the reluctance to put them together. It's not as if the angst and drama ends just because they have some happy times too. Just look at all of the fan fiction stories out there.

As some others have said - keep the faith. And, for those posters who have gone to lurking status - I'm not sure I understand why you aren't just posting in this thread and ignoring all of the others. Hasn't this almost always been the Liason bubble" - a happy place to retreat so to speak? So, please come back. We miss reading your wonderful insight, hearing your enthusiasm and positive thinking and,w well, just you.
