Jason: We can't do this. Elizabeth: Why? Why can't we be together? Jason: We talked about it months ago. Elizabeth: Are you going to deny that you want me as much as I want you? Jason: People want a lot of things they can't have. Elizabeth: But this is not about people. This is about us. Jason: We can't do this. There is no "us." Elizabeth: Yes, there is. We may not talk about it or act on it, but it's there all the time. First of all, I loved their little argument… they were so cute trying to get each other’s point across. Jason once again started off with how they can’t be together, but I loved how Elizabeth shot back at him with a Why?!! It is pretty much established that Jason loves & is in love with Elizabeth, and wants her in his life. One thing to note in above convo is that when Elizabeth asks him direct questions about their feelings, Jason always gives a generalized answer… not even mentioning how he feels about it all. He doesn’t really have to say anything, because his whole body language speaks out loud that he loves Elizabeth & his life is miserable without her and Cake. My favorite line is the last one, when Elizabeth says “We may not talk about it or act on it, but it’s there all the time”. This statement pretty much explains our couple! Since they first became friends till now, there has always been a Jason & Elizabeth… neither one recognized it, but still it was there lurking and it was only a matter of time that these two acted on it. First in 2002, then in 2006 and again in late 2007; it is a pattern with both Jason and Elizabeth about wanting & loving each other, yet not acting on their feelings. They have at one instance or more assumed it is safer for them to bury their emotions for one another than to actually act on it. And on Tuesday, Elizabeth finally acknowledged this truth… there has always been a Liason, and will always be. History has a way of repeating itself. And once it does, usually we become more aware of the situation and take our learning from the past, so as previous mistakes are not repeated. It leaves us stronger and makes us re-evaluate what we truly WANT in life. In case of Liason, the danger issue will be re-visited… Jason’s enemies are already sniffing around trying to find his weakness, and do think Elizabeth might be it… but a chain reaction of events orchestrated by rival foes will basically be the eye-opener for Jason to finally claim his family. |

ok.. i just watched today's eppy... and all of Jason's conversations basically show that he regrets choosing this mob path since he can't be with Elizabeth. He even made SOUP for Spinelli!!! |

He even made SOUP for Spinelli!!! Maybe it was just me but all I saw were Liason references in every Jason & even Elizabeth scene! Yeah, sort of makes up for the fact that Maxie was an a$$ to Liz. Almost but not really. Actually, I didn't like the Liason scene today mainly because the tension between them is so thick it could be cut with a knife and my poor heart can't take that feeling. And, I said early this week that I absolutely loved their scenes together but Jason's argument against them seeing each other looks very weak when he's okay with interacting i.e. going grocery shopping with Carly, when she too is the mother of a child—and a child that Jason loves too. Finally, I hope Spin finally gets it through his thick skull that he's "worthy" (I hate this word) of respect—Jason's speech to him was dead on—but somehow I doubt it. |

the groceries were a bit odd.. but i liked the whole conversation they had. It was Carly saying she has finally found love, peace, and a real family with JAX!! Also Jason saying that she should concentrate on her husband, and Carly finally saying JAx is her number 1 priority and that he is worth fighting for. She gives references to her Sonny-love.. how it was different. She doesn't want to be self-destructive.. and enjoys the tranquility of her life with Jax. |

Beautiful! We do learn from history and hopefully we will see some of that with Liason. For me what I got most out of that particular part is: You can see that Jason is rationalizing things to himself more than to Elizabeth. He is thinking life isn't fair. As we grown up we learn this. But there are times when you can take that leap of faith and he isn't there yet. I also liked when Elizabeth said it wasn't about other people this is about us and by "us" I mean the huge elephant that is in the room with us whenever we are within 100 feet of each other. And it is so true. There was always the option of the two of them. The bridge to them might be broken but the tools to fix it have always been communication in my opinion. A lot their past problems the way I see it steamed from lack of communication. The funny thing is that this couple talks a lot but some times they don't talk about the important things. I can't remember who said it but locking them somewhere together for a period of time would really solve a lot of problems. I am at work but I will post the next section of the conversation this evening to look at. I feel it in my bones that good things are coming our way! |

Even though the talk was abt Jax and Carly... but really it was to show the contrast in Jason's life. Jason loves Elizabeth... he finds inner peace when is around her.. may not seem that way, but Elizabeth is Jason's number one priority. I saw it as a build-up ... Jason listening to Carly abt finding peace & how she will fight for her love ie JAx. It's a build up for Jason to finally fight for his true love ie Elizabeth. Her and Cake are Jason's real family. I would love to think that every scene that Jason or Elizabeth are in are about them, but to me the Carly/Jason convo was about Carly being happy in her marriage with Jax while down the street Clarice tells Kate about limo sex. IMO it was an anvil about Carly's happiness coming crashing down. |

Quote Canadiana: Yeah, sort of makes up for the fact that Maxie was an a$$ to Liz. Almost but not really. Don't shot me but I actually liked the scene because of what I think it could mean for the future. When Maxie left she had that scheming look on her face and I think that Maxie is going to try and figure out whatever this is. And I could see Maxie actually in a backdoor sort of way helping Liason get together. |

I thought that a lot of the conversation was about Liason. I even found myself praying that Carly would bring up Elizabeth. But that isn't to say that it couldn't actually have been about both - heehee |

I used to like her and Spin but they are driving me up the wall lately. Just yesterday Jason asked Spin to stop talking about Sasha to Elizabeth and then what does he do today? Ugh, Spin goes on and on about how he wants to be like Jason but he never listens to a word he has to say. |
