I know soaps are notorious for screwing with the kids ages but even if you fudge with Kristinas age she is still younger than Michael and he is just 17. Kristina was born after Michael and I thought she was born after Morgan. I could be wrong about Morgan I did not watch as closely as I do now. So they are going to have to be very careful with that story line. But I did get the impression something was going on at Maxie and Spinelles nonwedding recpt.

I don't mind a friendship, a girl with a crush and an older guy who thinks she is beautiful. BUT absolutely NO SEX....

But he may can show her that a guy can like her without the sex thrown in

How old do all of you think Ethan is? I think of him as 21-22 years old.

I think of Kristina as ready to turn 17 at any time.

And I love love love the idea of another Cassadine/Spencer pairing. Imagine the fights between Luke and Alexis over his treacherous, con, cad of a son tainting her precious, innocent, Harvard bound daughter.

Then add in MOBSTER Godfather who is close friends with Luke and father of Kristina...

I think we have all the makings of another GREAT soapy storyline!!!

They should explore that budding friendship first by Ethan constantly being there right after Keifer is a douchella baggolla to Kristina...eventually figuring out what's really going on first then being there for her...slowly by next summer (when the annual teen storyline kicks up a notch) there is a full on love story...Kristina not quite yet 18.

Ahhhh...just what the soap opera doctor ordered.

Ethan is supposed to be older than Lulu. I think they mentioned that he's an older brother. So if Lulu is 22 he msut be like 23?

I don't mind it at all. I actually really like it, so far. But, all I want to see right now and for the foreseeable future is a close friendship and maybe a set up for a relationship that would come to fruition farther down the road.

I also really like the Spencer/Cassadine and the Spencer/Corinthos side of it as well. It kind of adds to the potential epicness.

I'm going to weigh in here in my capacity as a mother of a teenage girl a little younger than the age Kristina is being played at.

Should the writers build any kind of relationship between Kristina and Ethan now?

NO.FREAKING.WAY.

Ethan is approximately 23-24. (22 would be the absolute lowest I'd buy and that would take a lot of convincing. Lulu has been sorased over the last few years and I believe, based on the drinking she does in bars, she is now at least 23.) Kristina is 16. She looks 14, max. I would be very disturbed if GH pursued even a flirtation between this girl and this grown man at this stage. The first scene between them at Jake's made me uncomfortable but at least Coleman called Ethan out on his potential pursuit of "jailbait." The second scene on the docks was OK. I could see a teenage girl thinking youthful-looking and acting Ethan is a total hottie. Even though I know it was a plot point, it was not all right for Ethan to give Kristina his telephone number. That is leading her on and inappropriate.

Could I change my mind if the character is rapidly sorased? Perhaps...although as I noted the actress is very young-looking so even obviously-done sorasing is not going to take away my perception of Kristina being too young for Ethan. I do see the allure of a Cassadine/Corinthos being paired with a Spencer. (It even beats DanLu with the Corinthos and Spencer connection.) But it can't be done now.

Nothing would surprise me though.

Footnote: Yes, I do know that Nathan Parsons is 21 in RL. That does not matter at all.
