The nephew is a Travolta fan, so he ordered Be Cool to watch from Netflix. We're sitting there watching, laughing our bums off, when suddenly both of us shouted "It's Dr. Lee!' Minae Noji was in it. She also had a small part in Memoirs of a Geisha.

I'm used to seeing GH actors on the small screen. Carolyn Hennessey, Megan Ward, Lisa Locicero have been on many other shows. (And of course CH is currently in Cougar Town). I think Michael Gregory and Sonya Eddy have been in every major series since the 70s in bit parts. In the "old" days, Peter Hansen (lee Baldwin), Chris Robinson, and Emma Samms were practially everywhere.

We were trying to think what other movies GH actos have been in while still working on GH. The only other one we could come up with is that the actress who played Leyla was in Charlie Wilson's War and Sebastian Roche was in Beowolf (and I still think he must have owed someone a HUGE favor to do that hot mess.) Can any one add to the list?

Steve Burton was in the movie Last Castle. I think that was when he was still on GH.

Dominic Zamprogna is in 2012 now. He's a paramedic. Actually, Mr. Zamprogna is a hard-working actor. He has an impressive resume...movies, TV, you name it. I can't believe GH was lucky enough to nab him.

Sort of related, I guess...but did anyone think the voice on Franco's speakerphone yesterday sounded like Finola Hughes?

I did sort of sound like her, but I recognized the voice as Marsha Thomason. The woman from the show Las Vegas that is supposed to be coming on with Franco.

Aw...thank you! I knew she was on her way but I didn't know her voice. I thought perhaps GH might be giving a little wink and a nod to the audience by having a recognizable GH voice on the line. (I saw a photo of Ms. Thomason. She is gorgeous!)

Last week on the Disney channel they had the movie Hoot on. Scotty Baldwin (I can't remember his real name) played the small part of a desk clerk. That movie was probably about 10 years old so he made it while still on GH.

The one actress I am amazed at that hasn't done much other than GH is Kirsten Storms. I have kids so we have been watching her on the disney channel since forever.

I was about 8 or 9 when Zenon aired. I was in love with it.

Kin Shriner. He's been on GH half of forever. I think he took over the role of Scotty around 1976-1977. That's probably the most recast role ever on the show. LOL! I can remember at least I can think of at least five different Scottys, including Johnny Whitaker. (I think he was the first one.)

Only, I remember DZ from Battlestar Galactica and The L Word. I was THRILLED that he joined GH.

SciFi fans know that Dominic Zamprogna was, very notably, Jammer on Battlestar Galactica. *sob* He was also Jammer-locked on a very sad episode. Too cute, he was - made me cry -

For some reason I can recognize voices pretty easily...weird I know. Anyway I remembered b/c I did watch the first couple seasons of Las Vegas mostly b/c of Josh Duhamel!

Wouldn't it be nice if GH threw us little bones like that? *sigh*
