Madcaps....cuz she busts me up!! I used to think it was funny to call him Chucky b/c Dylan Cash had red hair and was short. Now Michael is grown up and blond, but the name fits again for the disturbing reason that he's become an axe murderer. And whatever, Claudia was just another gross woman who believed that salvation was in Sonny's approval. You know Sonny, isn't CEO of Murder Inc., only ever attracted to dependent, mostly pathetic, albeit pretty, women who excel at lying to themselves. In the musical, Lindsey Lohan would play Sonny's Bad Decisions. (while Samantha Ronson DJ"s a mash up of Rie Sinclair songs and Suicidal Tendencies. Also, I really hope Baz Luhrmann directs). Sorry, I got side tracked, but my point is since Claudia was just going to be another idiot, then there's no love lost now that she's gone. but it's so creepy that everyone is going to sit around and endlessly justify and rationalize that Chucky's first instinct was to become an axe murderer. Not to stand menacingly in the doorway. Not to hit Claud in the knee, thus making it impossible for her to flee. He was shot in the head because Sonny and Carly kidnapped AJ's son and turned him into a creepy little murder doll who thinks of murder as a way to solve problems. Sonny kills people because he's arrogant. Jason kills people because he's a borg. Michael kills people the way you and I might cry to get out of a speeding ticket. It's his go to move. Carly's room: Carly sobs that Michael was protecting her. Jax says that's what Carly has to tell Mac. Carly indignantly says no one can know what happens. Lobby: Sam sits, all evil and dark and heartless, next to Johnny, who is understandably near tears that his sister is missing. He finds it hard to believe that Sam just happened upon Carly in Cabinton, and that Carly never mentioned Claud. Sam coldly says she has no idea what happened to his sister. She's so ridiculously cold and hateful about it. Wouldn't that raise more suspicion? Also? She's wearing a terrible shirt. I'm totally off Team Sam at the moment. Jason, Max and Milo solemnly watch the evidence being burned. Did they burn a body? like...all the bones? In the rain? without anyone noticing the enormous bonfire this would need? Maxie, who is brunette all of a sudden, talks to someone on the phone. She sees Sonny walking in the rain with a gigantic bloody hand print on his shirt. Like the bigass kind of handprint you make when you trace your hand and turn it into a turkey. Worst mobster ever. Credits. Loo's room: Looloo and Dante flirt a bit, and luke shows up chipperly to talk about murdering Claudia . the hell? Lobby: Sam continues to be oddly antagonistic to Johnny because apparently she's about as smart as a thimble and thinks that pissing of Johnny is going to help michael. Cabin: Sonny burns his stupid red handed shirt and yells at Michael about getting rid of the evidence. Are they going to burn the very flammable axe too? Metal melts at what? 98 degrees? Or is that a super gay boy band? I can never keep those two separate. Michael runs upstairs to take off his clothes b/c it's always smart to spread forensic evidence into as many rooms as possible when you are trying to hide it. Jason calls to say "it's done" and I guess that's supposed to be chilling, but again, it takes a lot of heat to burn bone. Even in cremation, there are still bits of bones that remain. and wouldn't there be a HUGE CHUNK of SCORCHED earth nearby? Wouldn't that seem suspicous AFTER A RAIN STORM? I know I'm supposed to suspend disbelief, but the show is asking me to suspend the notion that disbelief can exist. Carly's room: Jax and Carly are at that place again whereby he believes that sometimes, you have to follow laws, and she believes you only follow Sonny. But he kidnaps children sometimes, so shut up, Jax's ever moving ethical targets. Commercials Jason's Penthouse: Johnny bursts in and demands the location of the cabin where Sam found Carly. His voice is hoarse, as if he was crying uncontrollably the whole drive over and managed to pull it together in the elevator. Spinelli, of course, just loves murdering people, so he won't help. John points out that he saved Spinelli's life, and this is how he's being repaid. Spinelli pathetically says he's protecting Johnny by not giving out info, but what that means is that he loves Jason thiiiiiiiiiis much, and Jason will just as soon murder Johnny as not. Gawd, kill everyone but Mac is my new motto. He's the only one who doesn't choose to ally himself with murders. Carly's room: Carly sobs while Jax lays it out plain and simple "How you handle Claudia's murder will determine if Michael ends up like Sonny, or the better life you want for him." Sooooo...over/under on divorce papers? 7 days. Taking bets in the lobby. Corinthaus: Oh, so here's the really stupid thing that I didn't catch onto before. Sonny and Michael are burning their stupid clothes in the stupid fireplace at Corinthaus. Dante shows up and sees the fire and can add 2 and 2 and finds it suspicious. Hospital: Nik and Liz run into each other and manage not to have sex. Looloo's room: Loo says that if Sonny kills Claud now, everyone will know it was her. Luke says Claud will disappear, her body never to be found. Loo says that's a little cold blooded. A little? Luke, of course, finds it perfectly fair because Claudia kidnapped a pregnant woman. and fair enough, Claudia was dead the minute she came to town, but everyone is talking about it so smugly and calmly. Like killing her is just what you do. Like doubling down on 11. It's just what you do, no emotional reaction allowed. Liz and Nik stop by, and Luke eyes them warily. Commercials Loo's room: Looloo regales her time in the water with Dante. Nik hates Dante b/c he works for Sonny. I am mostly bored with Nik, but I forever love his hatred of Sonny! Tracy and Ethan rush into the room. Nik continues to insult Dante. Looloo, who knows the truth about Dante, acts all pissy about this. Even though she didn't want to be with Dante for the very reason that Nik doesn't want her with Dante. Corinthaus: Sonny pours a drink. He sends Dante to Route 86 to deal with Claud's blue sedan. Why didn't Jason deal with that? Dante leaves, and Jason asks about Michael. Sonny says "better than expected" He mumbles that he's pretty sure that MIchael knows he did what he had to do. OH, great, well as long as you are pretty sure, then done and done. By all means, all Michael did was chop a woman's head off while she was unarmed, mentally ill, facing in another direction, and roughly 15 pounds lighter than him. What other choice did he have? Carly's room: Hot Cop shows up to get Carly's statement. Carly breathlessly talks about Claud speaking crazy about her baby. (Johnny shows up to eaveslurk in the hallway) Carly says she grabbed the wheel, and they ran off the road on Route 86 past the Never Existed Before Bridge. (Johnny takes off) Jason's Penthouse: Sam comes come and takes off her stupid jacket, revealing her stupid clubbing shirt from my junior year, and pouts "what a night" Like she had a flat tire. Like...she missed the ferry. She then grossly worries that Johnny "will do something stupid like try to avenge Claudia." um, YA THINK? Gold star for Sam. She's almost smarter than my tape dispenser. Hospital: Maxie runs into Johnny and gives him the clue that she saw Sonny with the red turkey hand print on his shirt. See, if TV had gotten to the awesome point it will in about 3-5 years whereby the audience can affect the outcome, I'd be begging all y'all to send Johnny your entire Mafia Wars aresenal, so that he could Kill Everyone But Molly at this point. Commercials So here's an obnoxious thing ABC just did. They started to break in, but then went to a Roomstore commercial, so I missed the beginning of a report about a shooting at Fort Hood. Way to go, ABC affiliate. Make sure that you make that money from some crappy furniture store before telling us about an Army base being shut down. Someone should get a promotion! Carly's room: we return and Hot Cop tells Carly he's glad she and the baby are alright. He leaves. Jax says she made a terrible mistake. She snots that she protected her son, just like Jax protected his brother. She says he knew Jerry was involved in Michael's shooting, and he never said a word. He doesn't answer. Hospital: Maxie explains she went to Kate's to deal with some flooding, and th epower was out, so Sonny had to get out of the car to open his gate. She said she could see the bloody hand print. She says she shouldn't be telling him this, but he sadly says it makes sense. Corinthaus: Sonny is sitting around, relaxed and sure they are scot free. He's already repeating that Michael is fine. Jason was concerned about the "pretty sure" bit, so now Sonny has dropped that and says emphatically that Michael knows he did what he needed to do to stop Claud, and he'll make sure his son is fine. Jason, who just loooooves Michael so much, sort of blinks about this. Burned out Cabin: Dante has, of course, found the burned up cabin. That burned to the effing ground in the rain, but didn't create enough fire or smoke to alert anyone in town...when EVERYONE IN TOWN is looking for Carly and Claud. Let's just pretend that it would still be too hot to even walk around this cabin, isn't it a wee bit suspicous?
