I can only see that working if they bring her character back. I personally don't believe she's dead, they can use this storyline years down the road. Or her long lost twin shows up - we all know GH writers love the long lost twin stories!

There was a time that I REALLY wanted a back story. Something that would explain why Claudia was so messed up. I wanted to like her because of SJB, but now that she's gone my interest is gone as well. I think they wrote her into a hole and couldn't find a way to bring her out and when SJB decided it was time to move on, they figured it best just to wipe the slate clean. I really doubt we'll get a story now, she was just one F'd up lady who will forever be known as Crazy Claudia.....that chick who used to be on GH.

On a side note - did anyone else catch that at the end Claudia was dressed in gray. Her entire run on the show she is in black or red or a mix of the two (aside from her multi colored swim suit in puerto rico) but at the end she is in gray. I thought that said something about her not being completely evil. I don't know maybe I'm looking for symbolism where there isn't any! |

I think just cuz sjb and claudia are gone from GH I still feel like I need a back storie I mean they gave that much to coop and Logan (wow it's been so long since I thought of them and Gh together ...) I really think after sweeps we will get something, or atleast I hope we do (fingers crossed) |

My theory is that, Johnny is Trevor Lansing son, see the difference Johnny was educate, he has all the making's of a Lansing, I think the one who had the affair was Maria with Trevor, Claudia might have had a fling with Trevor, but Maria, had his child, I guess that's why Trevor stay around to watch over his son,knowing AZ, was crazy, that's why Claudia protected Johnny so much, she thought sooner or later AZ would kill Johnny. |

And it definitely worked. As for Trevor's seduction by Claudia, I'm remembering it differently. I thought Claudia said that she did it to trap Trevor. She wanted her father to find them in the act so he'd realize he could't trust Trevor. Instead, Anthonoy accused Claudia of being a slu_t instead of being angry at Trevor, which devastated her. He then sent her off to Italy because she was a "bad influence". Here's my thought on it. It's pretty weird that a very young daughter would WANT her father to catch her having sex with his friend unless she already had some abnormal relationship with the father. Could it be that Anthony was a pedophile himself? He could have abused her when very young, given her attention to get her to "keep their secret" and then lost interest when she got above a certain age. Claudia could have repressed the memories of the sexual abuse, and just realized that daddy was suddenly shunning her, thus creating that weird combnation of revulsion and hurtful longing she sometimes displayed with him. (The constant "I hate you! Why don't you love me?" cycle.) For his part, Anthony might have felt guilty enough about his perversion that when he caught Trevor and Claudia, he realized his part in it and sent her away to avoid admitting to himself that he was responsible for how messed up she was. |
