I posted this in another thread but I think it should have it's own category so I'm reposting it here. Please note this is just a theory and I'm just wondering if anyone else ever picked up on this under current . . .


Did anyone else have the feeling that Anthony had sexually abused Claudia? I know that's an ugly topic but that was always the vibe I got from their characters interaction. It would also explain alot about why she was so messed up. She turned all of that rage, frustration and helplessness into the persuit of power. It always seemed like the writers hinted at it but they never actually revealed it. Thoughts?

Someone in the other thread thought maybe Johnny was Claudia's son. So here is my answer to that.


I always had that feeling too! And if you go with that theory then you can see how helping Carly have her baby could cause her to snap because Anthony took Johnny from her and she never could tell her secret and so she snaps and decides to take this baby for herself. This would give Claudia so many more layers and help to explain her behaviors. JMHO though.

Another poster felt the time frame didn't match for Johnny to be Claudia's son and was not in favor of history being reworked. This is my answer to that post.

The writers left it very ambiguous about why she was sent away at 16 and they also never explained why Anthony would want to shoot Johnny as a little boy - remember Johnny told Lulu his mother was killed trying to save him - she jumped in front of the shot or something like that. Anthony could have easily lied to Johnny about Claudia's age. I don't know it just seems like there is a big piece of the storyline missing.


Now that is as far as this topic has gotten in the other thread. Please let me know your theories and opinions! Thanks!

I forgot to post also that 1. Anthony always called Claudia down - specifically a liar and a word that rymes with snore (had to add that to pass the sensors). 2. He wanted to kill Johnny when he was little - why would you want to kill the child of your angelic second wife - unless maybe he is a constant reminder of the evil things you did to your daughter maybe? 3. Claudia was sent away with no reason given. 4. Claudia was way too attached to Johnny for a sister. 5. Claudia hated her father but always saught his approval 6. Trevor always hinted at having some secret about Claudia that would ruin her relationship with Johnny

So this leads me to think that maybe this will all come out now that Claudia is dead and this will be what sends Johnny over the edge as predicted in upcoming spoilers.

Well when Trevor Lansing was on the show. I got the impression that Trevor was really Johnny's dad. Just a vibe I got. Kept it a secret to keep AZ from killing him. I think Johnny and Claudia are to close in age to mother and son IMO. Plus she was there the night AZ shot Johnny's mother. She protected him. I think the reason they are so close is they where all each other had, She put all her love in Johnny cause he was the only one who loved her. Her father didn't and there mothers where dead.

I agree, there is something has not been told about Claudia. Anthony, hated her. Why?? Being a parent myself, I can not believe that you can hate your child so much. I would think if he was so angry with her that he could not deal with her at all, but, to say he would not mind if she was killed....I just can't accept that. Also, I would have thought that Jason would have made it look like the AZ's family killed her.

I always got the impression that Claudia had been sexually abused/raped by Trevor. The conversations between them just made it seem like she was forced. Also, when she was testifying in Johnny's trial, it appeared she was speaking from experience.

If i'm not mistake Claudia may have been raped by Ric's dad, and Anthony accused Claudia of seducing him. That's why he sent her away as a preteen or teen, and when she returned she had become cold, hard and bitter. She just wanted the love and respect of her father.
