I would agree with you if a kid was not involved! Sonny/jason don't have anything to do with his deliberately lying and/or with holding the truth to use that little boy as a bargaining chip. Even now, Jax still doesn't get it! He still is talking about sonny/ jason and what they did and how it would be for the 'greater good' but what he really means is 'throw Michael and Morgan away" that was youre old life with sonny Josselyn and me are your real family .
It is not about Carly/Jax or sonny or even about trust It is about her children and how he just disregarded them like trash!
Im going to give you another hard truth! He never expected the boy to wake up! He figured he was just going to ride it out. Jax is not an evil person .... He is just a selfish hypocrite who really wanted carly the kids were just things that she had with sonny.

Jax did know before her pregnancy and chose not to tell her. To protect his brother, not Carly. He knew Sonny would kill him if he knew. Jason told her he knew something but would wait until she had the baby to tell her, and he did just that. I don't want her with jax anyway. She belongs with Sonny and no one else.

Jerry was thought to be dead - remember the boat explosion in the harbor. As for Carly going back with Sonny - Please NO! But if she does she'll lose the baby - because you know there is no way in hell that Sonny will be raising Jax's daughter. Carly and Sonny need matching t-shirts - "We raised an axe murderer and all we got were these stupid t-shirts"

Jax knew that Jerry was still alive. Jerry had left Jax a voice mail at his office telling him that he was okay. Also after he received the DVD outlining Jerry's part about the hit on Sonny he couldn't make up his mind whether or not to tell Carly. A few days later Olivia walked into his office and overheard the DVD being played and Jax listening to it. Jax told her he didn't know if he should tell Carly because it would destroy his marriage. Olivia told him he should destroy it and never tell Carly, which is basically what Jax wanted to hear.

I dont think Carly is concerned with the 'perfection' of Jax. This goes deeper than that. No one is perfect but Can u understand that you dont play with someones kids ? In a way and I hate to say this Carly got back what she did to Nicolas in spades !
If you remember she was helping jax cover the fact he was Spenser's son. That should have been a tip off as to how he treats children that are not his own! But to this Carly this is a signal that she can trust him!
Instead she should have looked at the fact that he was willing to pretend that spenser was his son just to spite Nicholas. He did not love that baby he used an infant as a bargaining chip
