Quote jnlforever: Quote Jasam09: Maybe it's just me, but do you know that feeling when you are watching something-- that feeling of complete and utter epic-ness that causes tears to come your eyes even if it isn't sad? You jump up and down, and cover your mouth, and shriek a little. Sometimes when something like that happens, I have to pause it and contain myself before it goes any further, because I know I will absolutely lose it if I don't. That is what happened with me watching this scene. These are the scenes I watch GH for. There aren't enough of them, but when the great moments come along they can be OH SO POWERFUL!! The way Claudia was lying there dead with her eyes open, blood pouring out of her head. Such a moving moment. WOW......that was so me, I had the tears in the eyes too and believe me it wasn't because I was sad that Claudia died! I cried too. Because it was such a horrible thing to have happened. My heart broke for Michael and Carly. The look on Claudia's face was tragic and made you realise under all of her insanity she was a very broken woman. OMG - just thinking about that scen is making me tear up! |

Very dark. Very sad. Extremely depressing. |

Quote ghfanfare: Very dark. Very sad. Extremely depressing. I really did not like it at all. Furthermore, it ruined the arrival of the new little boo for me. I hope Sonny and Jason pay for what they've done...but I won't hold my breath because it's not likely. I understand where you're coming from ghfanfare...but how soapy to juxtapose murder and birth like that. I also believe that this whole, very graphic eppy (at least compared to the way GH usually shows the mob), which included Dante outlining his own revenge plan (legal, of course, but revenge nonetheless), is setting the stage for some of the usual suspect to get some form of punishment for their crimes. |

Hi, onlygh. Yes, I understood that was the effect they were going for with the life and death scenes. I guess I am hypersensitive. I work in the court reporting field and have seen all kinds of murder and mayhem go through the courtrooms. I get enough of it in real life. That's why, for the most part, I avoid those kind of shows on TV. |

I was actually surprised to see GH go all Good Fellas on us yesterday...totally didn't expect that after years of watching the Teddy Bear Mob skipping about Port Chuck. I thought it was a great show but I was bothered by Michael killing Claudia. There was just no hesitation there...he wanted to kill her (even though she was holding his baby sister who could have easily been injured). The fact that Michael's being played at 17 (still a child) was troublesome...this level of criminality should be left to the adult characters. I suspect Michael will consider himself a part of the mob now...isn't that how it works in the real mob...do a hit to prove you're in. I really wanted all of Sonny's children to stay out of his life. So, can we find a vacant cell for Sonny please? |

I hope you are right and this is all a precursor to the downfall of Sonny and the mob. It is definitely time. |

Todays episode reminded me of the movie Godfather III, with the opera playing in the background, absolutely loved it. GH is the best thing on TV day or night right now....Ride on GH Wrtiers and directors. |

Totally disagree with you guys, I think GH should have other stories beside the mob, it does not have to always take center stage but the mob is what sets GH apart of other soaps. Personally I like it the way it is but I am ready to have Lucky, Liz and Nic take center stage with a great story...... |

I hated yesterday's episode. I don't care that Michael killed Claudia, she was about to kidnap Carly's daughter and someone needed to stop her. But the whole episode was about Sonny, Carly, Jason, Michael, and the whole mob scene. I'm sick of hearing Sonny's voice everyday. And maybe it's just me, but I thought it was kind of lazy of Jason to just stand there while he made Max and Milo dig the whole to put Claudia in. He's got the muscles, it wouldn't have hurt him to pick up a shovel. |

Actually, I have never said it was necessary to eliminate the mob entirely...just shift the main focus to other stories and characters and let the mob take a back seat for a while, just as you have said. The glory days of the Sopranos is over. Medical dramas are a big draw on primetime now. Personally, I would like to see GH follow suit...as well as showcase stories with adventure, romance, mystery and suspense. I also feel, as onlygh has pointed out, that it is time for Sonny to pay for his crimes. He is no longer a sympathetic character and I think there are quite a few viewers out there who would like to see the justice system win one for a change. |

While I realize Claudia is a psycho I believe so is Michael. Didn't he kill his biological Father and now Claudia...I don't know but one can't go on in life just killing off people even if they are bad people. That makes him just as bad. |

Yeah, but is Sonny really supposed to be sympathetic? I mean, there's moments of sympathy, moments when he gets to ruminate on all the mistakes his made in his life and all the sacrifices he's made to achieve this level of crime lordishness, but now we also get the balance of him also being this true criminal, who deserves everything he gets and more. |

It's all about balance for me. I'm fine with the mob if it took up only about a 1/4th of the show. I don't now want GH to jump on the medical show bandwagon. There's only so much of that I can take. There's already 5-6 prime time shows, so I don't want that taking up my daytime too. It gets very stale after a while. As with the mob 1/4 would be good. I'll pas son the "adventure" too. I simply want good stories be it mob related, hospital related, whatever. I do see a shift coming. |

I don't like Michael he is going to be a bigger mobster than his Step-Dad! IMHO Michael did not kill AJ, it was the Psychiatrist guy who was treating Jason. I'm not good with details, but it had something to do with Jason's original brain damage and AJ paying this guy to keep Jason brain damaged?? Not sure, but I think they made it look like it could have been Michael, but it turned out not to be him in the end. |
