I loved every single minute of today's show! ***Dante tenderly caring for Fair Lulu ***Jason and his henchmen going all Good Fellas ***Sonny taking bad parenting to heretofore unattained low levels ***Jax with his baby girl in his arms ***Maxie chattering away on her cell, seeing something she probably shouldn't have that she'll no doubt tell everyone in Port Chuck about ***Carly being Carly (wow, just wow to Laura Wright, who never ceases to amaze me) ***Dante covering nicely and smoothly when Johnny heard Lulu say "officer" ***Michael Corinthos Jr. (did you get a load of his eyes just before he whacked Claudia...egad!) ***And...the piece de resistance...Claudia is DEAD Kudos to the actors in the ensemble over the last few eppys...special recognition to Dominic Zamprogna and Julie Marie Berman (their scenes were Emmy-worthy); Laura Wright; Drew Garrett; Ingo Rademacher; and Sarah Joy Brown. All this, and I'd like to add that the camerawork of the killing and the music were spot on. I think some of the story is idiotic (Max is right about the cabin fire), but the actors, direction and tech aspects were terrific. |

Ok, I haven't gotten past the montage/michael killing Claudia scene yet, but I just watched that part and am in SHOCK at how amazing it was. I was so impressed that I have to post about it before I watch any more. |

Maybe it's just me, but do you know that feeling when you are watching something-- that feeling of complete and utter epic-ness that causes tears to come your eyes even if it isn't sad? You jump up and down, and cover your mouth, and shriek a little. Sometimes when something like that happens, I have to pause it and contain myself before it goes any further, because I know I will absolutely lose it if I don't. That is what happened with me watching this scene. These are the scenes I watch GH for. There aren't enough of them, but when the great moments come along they can be OH SO POWERFUL!! The way Claudia was lying there dead with her eyes open, blood pouring out of her head. Such a moving moment. OMG J09! that was totally me too! causes tears to come your eyes even if it isn't sad? You jump up and down, and cover your mouth, and shriek a little. I was home today cause of a sick child and got to watch live. I wanted to jump up and get on the board and talk about it with...anyone! But I couldn't stop watching... |

I drove over to my house, and now I'm watching the epi from my tivo. I just couldn't wait until tomorrow to see it. |

It was a great episode. I was thoroughly enthralled and yet still a bit disgusted by people's behavior after Claws death. When Sonny told Michael "you did good", that was it for me. The fallout from this is going to be EPIC. |

I mean, okay, they wanted to make Michael feel a little less guilty and all of that... it sort of makes sense, because a parent would never want their child to be in too much pain. But to say "you did good"... seriously? He's basically encouraging Michael to go on killing sprees every time someone does him wrong. I didn't think even Sonny could be that ridiculous. Clearly I forgot who I was thinking about because it really shouldn't have surprised me so much...

But what remains its saving grace for me, is that I think it was intentionally supposed to be a "wtf" moment. The reason I think it was intentional, was because after he said that, the camera zoomed in on Jason's face, and I feel like he was thinking "yeah Sonny, I'm not so sure that is the best way to calm Michael down right now." But I think he didn't say anything, because maybe he thought disagreeing with Sonny while Michael was in the state of shock he was would be more damaging than good. |
