That responsibility lies with her father Anthony Zacchara, the man who neglected and demeaned her for her entire life. So you can't blame Sonny at all. Sorry, that is so true, so very true!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh I can easily blame Sonny. While yes Claudia does crazy all on her own, sonny pushed her into this. He cornered her in a crowded room, exposed her dirty little secret, ripped her a new one, said he was happy her baby was dead, and then what expected her to go quietly into the night? You have got to be kidding me...Sonny set this ball in motion, so yes I do blame him.

I remember the time that AZ (in wheelchair) was at a restaurant with Claudia and he was berating her loudly and embarrassing her in public. Sonny comes over and tells AZ that he may want to lower his voice. And AZ tells Sonny he was nobody, that he no longer called any shots. Sonny leaned down so that only AZ could hear him and told him that if he didn't lower his voice that he would knock him out of the wheelchair and make him crawl like the cockroach he was. Then Sonny escorted Claudia out of the restaurant. So yeah....AZ is the reason Claudia is unbalanced....but Sonny did push her to the edge at the party.

I don't think anyone blamed Sonny for Claudia being crazy. However, IMO Sonny handled the news that she was responsible for Michael's shooting the wrong way. He knew that she was teetering on the ledge of sanity because of what AZ had put her through growing up, and he pushed her right over. And by announcing it in front of everyone, because knew that Claudia was ALREADY crazy, he was putting all of the people he cared about at risk, and also practically threatened her in front of several witnesses. Not his brightest moment, but hey, it makes for an incredibly soapy sweeps, so I'm loving it!

It isn't Sonny's fault that Claudia is crazy because she was damaged by growing up in an emotionaly abusive environment.

However, he didn't help the situation by being so verbally abusive toward her at her birthday party. It is one thing to yell at her for what happened to Michael but then he had to bring their unborn child into it. That child died inside of her and it couldn't be easy for any woman to have to go through that ordeal and then to have to find that his daughter Kristina caused the accident and it was swept under the rug as if it didn't matter.

I don't recall anyone asserting that Sonny is at fault for Claudia being a whack-job. However, he has been living with her in fairly close quarters for quite some time now. He should have had a pretty good idea that she's not firing on all cylinders. But still...Sonny (not the sharpest crayon in the box) thought it was a grand idea to publicly humiliate Claudia. So, he does bear responsibility for setting off the sequence of events that led to Claudia taking Carly at gunpoint.

But Sonny...he's nothing if not predictable. Did he set out on his own to try to make things right with the situation...since he was the one who set it in motion? (He looks physically fit and young enough to go out on a search to me.) No...instead he spent his time trying to get his hunting dog out of jail and then, once he'd accomplished that, went to bother Jax and company with nonsense about taking the boys to his house. (Even Michael and Morgan were looking at him like he'd lost what's left of his mind.) What a complete joke Sonny has become.

He didn't do much for Brenda's sanity either.

Sonny knew exactly what he was doing, and he's such an attention _hor_ that he just HAD to do it in front of an audience. He's just as crazy as she was, perhaps more.

Ok yes Claudia had a screw or two (or ten) lose to begin with because of her father, BUT as far as what happened to Claudia RECENTLY, yes Sonny has a LOT of blame!

- Claudia wanted more when she got with Sonny. She FINALLY wanted to settle down and Sonny KNEW this yet he kept playing the game of them trying to be happy, when he didn't even want it.

- After the baby died, Sonny covered up for Kristina and said (basically) "oh well" to Claudia and then STILL didn't tell her he didn't want her or another child.

- Sonny THEN in front of a room full of people exposed her as the one that put the hit out on him. SINCE WHEN is mob business conducted that way?? OF COURSE she's going to go apesh!t, what did Sonny expect??

A lot of it is Anthony's fault but a lot of it is Sonny's too. Sonny knew she was crazy and he made it worse when he said it was a blessing that their baby died. It was bad enough that him and Alexis let Kristina get away with it but what kind of person says that? Someone who's not human. Claudia did a lot of bad things, but no woman deserves for someone to tell her it was a good thing that her child died. That was sick. How can so many people still defend him? He's a criminal and a monster.

It's totally Her fathers fault as well as Sonny's this whole chain of events is Micheals fault!! If he hadn't got a gun played with it, shot kate, and ran off. Sonny wouldn't have Kidnapped Johnny, Claudia wouldn't have wanted revenge, and this wouldn't have happened!!

You are correct on this one. Sonny has become a joke. I realize he's the "boss" and gets to says who does what, but he's no better then AZ when he called her out in a room full of people knowing how unstable she really was. It's typical Sonny though as it's his way of blowing off steam!
