Oh boy, his scene in the station with Jason were great.....

1.) Loved that he actually cares about Michael and Carly. Not once have I ever heard Lucky mention his relationship to them... its about damn time!

2.) Loved that he talked about people doing desperate things in the name of family and that doesn't just include Jason's choices, like Lucky would be capable.

3.) Loved that the bitterness and playing second fiddle to Jason seemed be gone, to the point where he was going to help Jason. I am glad he did not have to in the end.

JJ has sold me! He is a winner! Go Team Lucky!!

Yep NoSoup...it was abundantly clear after today's eppy that, with Jonathan Jackson back in the role, the writers are going to write Lucky Spencer the way he should have been written all along. I'm very grateful. I really loved the scenes today between Jason and Lucky. (I simply couldn't wait to see Steve Burton and Jonathan Jackson in a scene together and they did not disappoint.) For the first time in forever, Jason and Lucky were played as equals today. Such a relief...I can't tell you how much it weighed on me over the years having Lucky Flippin' Spencer being the dumbest guy in town.

Today was amazing...finally they have Lucky Being Lucky and Not the Stupidest Guy in town...if GV Was still Lucky we wouldn't have never got that Scene YAY i'm Back on TEAM LUCKY WOOT WOOT

I too enjoyed the scenes with Jason and Lucky at the station today. It was pretty obvious that the scene with written with JJ in mind. It was an awesome scene between the two of them, and so looking forward to further interaction between these two.

Yes, today's Lucky/Jason scenes were great. I loved every second of them.

However I'm not completely convinced that it is all in the writing...Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that the writing hasn't improved or changed because of the actor in the role. (And I'm not saying that GV was a bad actor, because I really liked him as Lucky and I've liked him in other shows I've seen him in). I just think that more than one thing comes into play. Yes the writing seems better, JJ's style of acting and talent comes into too. But do you think it our own perceptions also have a part in that change too?

Not only does this Lucky LOOK different, but to me this is not the Lucky that did drugs, cheated on Liz, etc. etc. etc. This is THE Lucky. I went into last week expecting things to be different, and they are. But are they really that different or am I just seeing what I want?

By the same token, I'm having a lot of trouble believing that this Lucky is old enough to be the father of two or that this Lucky would so easily forget and accept Liz betrayal/lies about Jake...

Am I the only one who wonders if things are really different or if it's just a matter of seeing what I want to see???

Regardless, I did love today's Lucky scenes!

I love JJ. The scene was nice but Jason look like the hulk compared to Lucky. Everyone always talk about Liz betrayal and lies what about Lucky what Liz is doing Lucky did the same exact thing sleeping with Liz sister. Regardless whether it's JJ or not he still did things too but it seems that it's overlooked!

I Love JJ in this role!

Devil/Angel...I don't think it is seeing what you want to see...for example, in the scene with Jason, I truly think that GV would have never been so calm and would have never have left a key.

I also see him as THE Lucky and that is why I was disappointed in the way they brought him back. I was hoping for the really soapy story...like Helena has had him held captive for the past seven plus years.

I am looking forward to see how this evolves...I just think JJ brings something to Lucky that NO one else can.

He may not look like your typical heartthrob...but he can definitely make your heart skip a beat.

ITA. This is the 1st time I've liked Lucky in a long, long time. He didn't come off like a whiney little whimp or angry. He didn't come off like a doofus either like he always did. I too love JJ and WELCOME BACK TO THE REAL Lucky, or rather I should say the ORIGINAL Lucky!!

I find myself looking for Sonny scenes and JJ scenes, not together, but individually...I'm looking for emotions...delivery...content of the conversation...to whom they are speaking too and the expressions on their faces. And then I ask myself if what they said was believable. And I came to the conclusion that they are great actors that put alot into their craft, not a lot of actors can deliver not just their lines but their skills.

I was afraid that the scene between JJ and Jason would have been a little akward today because of young looking JJ playing the now Lucky character, the cop. I feel that JJ is cabable of handling himself just fine.
