Now that I think about it, Jax did know about the Zacchara/Devlin/Jacks connection, and that they were responsible for the Michael shooting situation long before Carly ever found out that she was pregnant. So there wasn't really no excuse at the time not tell her then. And even if he didn't want to tell her, he should've at least told Jason and/or Sonny. That way that whole incident that happened at the Metro Court last week could've been avoided. But no, to Jax protecting his pyschotic brother trumps whatever loyalties and/or responsibilities he has to his wife and her sons. And then on Friday, the sleeze bag had the audasity to say all those cruel things about Michael in front of the police commissioner, Michael, and Michael's own uncle Jason. Carly better hurry up and get all three of her children away from this parasite immediately because honestly the sleeze don't care about her or her sons. All he cares about is himself and that baby in that order. I cannot wait until Jason starts singing like the Temptations and tells everything he knows about Jasper Jacks.

I hate Jax also, I think Jax wants to be Sonny, family wise, he want to be daddy to sonny's kids, and he want to keep Carly and her children alway from sonny. On today's episode (Nov. 3, 2009) Jax kept throwing in sonny's face that he signed away on his rights to his children, and if anything happen to Carly he would raised them. Jax is an Ass. I honestly think that carly's baby daughter is Sonny's child and not Jax

I do not agree that Jax is a bad stepfather, he was wrong to not have been talking to Carly when he first learned about Claudia.

I think that Jax is a great stepfather and has practically been a father to Morgan, this is why Morgan is a good kid and not like his big brother Michael aka Sonny JR. I really hope that they dont break up Jax and Carly and reunite her with Sonny, I am not sure that even my JaSam love would keep me around for that.
Jax did what he did to protect Carly not Jerry and he has put up with way too much from Michael. Say what you want but I love his character.
