While I may not completely agree with the OP, I must say how surprised it is some say it is a soap (which it is) or disagree and subtle "seem" to mock the post. Maybe I am wrong, but the MB we tell of the frustrations and enjoyment of the soap, I believe some posters watched for like years older than me and may not enjoy the soap right now and express it, that is their right being the MB Addition to that, I think everyone has had their issues with the show once upon a time. I will use the ex: jolu I remember when they were breaking up and they had a jomax thread, only if I can find that thread, some fans of jolu went in their being really defensive, but I was not one to say it is a soap. I am not writing this thread to offend anyone, just pointing out something I have noticed lately. |

I don't think anyone was mocking the OP's post. "Load of Manure" is a very provocative title and, as such, is going to get some commentary. The posts I read were respectful but mostly in disagreement that the show smells. |

I understand the title is a bit different, and only I was not sure that is why I put in my previous post seem in quotations. I may have come to the wrong conclusion, however, my post was not only for this thread but in general as of late what I observe in different threads. jnl I understand the phrase, believe I me I use it too, as I know JD uses it too, but I used the phrase as an example to juxtapose that we all get frustrated, was not directly or indirectly to you. |

That is exactly what I was saying lemone, when did negativity become not allowed? I believe many get frustrated whatever the case with the soap. As far as the comments it is just a soap, I get what your saying because when I say it, I say it when a foolish argument ensues, so for the most part it is out of saracasm, I guess that is why I rarely use it, however, when reading it, like you pointed out, I read it like a way to belittle the poster out of an argument, not everyone does that and it MAY not be the intention, but that is the likely interpretation. |

Gosh ladies...I really respect you both so much but I truly don't see any belittling going on in here. (Honestly the majority of the posts were drooling ones commenting on jnl's Dante avi.) The thread has a hysterical title which posters commented on. No one told the poster she didn't have the right to her opinion. The majority posting in here this AM simply didn't agree with her assessment. (I, for one, totally don't agree that GH would be better off with Emily and Georgie alive and kicking and I said that. I also noted that I did agree that Sonny and Jason are destined to be... ) As to Jane's "it's just a soap" tagline, she's been using that on all of her posts for the last week or so. I see nothing wrong with it and she didn't use it in this post directed at the OP...she just likes to use it, sort of like I sometimes use "Just Say No To Spixie" as my tagline, or how people like to make statements with their avis...I know we all fondly remember Jane's Nik "Kick Me" one.
