Carly kicks Jax to the Curb

Jax may be able to live with covering up his brother’s involvement in Michael’s shooting, but Carly decides this week she cannot live with him.

“she throws him out of the house: you’re out of here, Goodbye! “ Chuckles LW “ her point with Jax is that you knew before I got pregnant. You knew the whole time”

Carly is however, willing to cut Jason some slack. Some. “It was one thing when Jason found –Carly was already pregnant and he couldn’t tell her, because she could die. Jason kept saying, let me handle whatever it is , and you will know when you are safe and healthy.” LW points out. “jax knew Claudia sent Jerry after Michael and Kristina in Mexico”.

Jason is, as usual, Loyal to Carly. “Jason is trying to take care of Carly through everything going on with Jax”notes LW “As with any situation with Carly when she feels hurt and betrayed, he’s got to make sure she doesn’t do something stupid. Luckily she’s just had a baby and she’s exhausted, so she’s not spinning too far out of control, but it’s very much like Carly to destroy everything in her path”.

Wright is the first to admit Carly may fly off the handle “maybe it’s a good thing Carly wasn’t able to handle the truth, because who knows –maybe she would have put herself and the baby in danger, afterall.” Says LW “which is Jax’s big excuse for not telling her. It’s interesting. Everyone has an argument”.

For his part, Jax finds it hard to swallow covering up Michael killing Claudia “Jax can’t believe Carly is letting this be covered up” Says LW “he’s like you are going to destroy this kid’s life. And he’s right” concedes LW “Michael is immediately like Dad I want to be in on the business. Look what I can do. I protected my family like I should. Start schooling me to take over the business. Sonny’s like Absolutely not!”

And Jax is not willing to give up “He’ s like I will sleep in another room, , but I want to be with my Daughter"

via Tracee on SZ:: SOW: Lucky Likes It, And Puts A Ring On It!
Lucky gives Liz a ring to seal their permanent lock this week, not realizing that Nik still holds the key to her heart.

"He wants to get past all the craziness of what they've gone through and try to get back to the essence of their romance," smiles JJ. "He's trying to cut through all the confusion, and reconnect and relate on that level."

Fresh from making love with Nik again, Liz is anguished to overhear Rebecca telling Lucky how... er, lucky Liz is to have a man love her the way Lucky does.

"They are talking to each other about the person that they're trying to find their way back to," notes JJ. "Lucky is trying to get a sense of where Liz is; she seems happy to be engaged to him, but there's also this confusion happening, and there's a similar struggle going on with Rebecca and Nik."

Hoping to iron out some of the wrinkles in their relationship, Lucky plans a romantic evening and decides to give Liz and engagement ring. "It's sort of the natural thing to do when you get engaged," JJ laughs. "They talk about where they've been and how they've gotten to where they are. He pushed things in terms of the way that they announced the engagement, so this is a more official – and more personal – way to solidify the engagement."

But Liz still seems a bit shaky. "Lucky doesn't know if it's her struggling with her past – the stuff that's happened with Jason, lying about Jake and all of that – or if there's something else going on that she just isn't telling him," JJ explains. "But she's also genuinely in love with him, so the mixed signals lead to a lot of confusion."

Liz seems to be on the verge of clarifying things by confessing her infidelity, when Nik and Rebecca arrive, spoiling the moment. "It's a little awkward, but Lucky chalks it up to Nik just not knowing boundaries," laughs JJ. "Lucky assumes the best of Nik. I don't think there's any [indication] of him suspecting anything.

In fact, Lucky and Liz go home and make love. "It's more of a story beat than an actual scene," says JJ. "But the significance of it in the story is to show that the love she has for Lucky is very real."

So real that Lucky tells his brother about it later, when they meet up at Emily's tomb to mark the anniversary of her death. "I don't think he'd have any reason to be throwing it in Nik's face," asserts JJ. "Obviously Nik knows what's going on and Lucky doesn't, so they're connecting in a sincere way around Emily, yet there's this undercurrent – this other thing going on that isn't being spoken about."

But it's not like Lucky is completely clueless. "There are things that he picks up on; he just doesn't relate it to Liz, because that would be so insane," insists JJ.

via SZ: SOW: A Closer Look - Michael

After killing Claudia, Michael thinks it's finally time to join the family business. Drew Garrett explains why Michael is ready to follow in his father's bloody footprints.

SOW: Does Michael talk to Sonny about killing his wife?
DG: They talk about how he's going to deal with it: what he did, what he didn't do, where he was, where he wasn't and what to say/what not to say when question by the police.

SOW: Jason is concerned that Michael doesn't seem to be showing much remorse.
DG: Michael's in denial about the whole thing. He's a young kid trying to rationalize it, he's trying to steer away from the problem and ignore it, instead of dealing with it directly. His way of doing that is acting like she deserved it: It wasn't out of line on his part at all; he did the right thing and he's moving on. If someone were to ask him [directly], he would definitely answer that he really doesn't feel bad – or doesn't have any guilt because of it.

SOW: He certainly seems darker, especially when he dispatches Max and Milo to send Kiefer "a message." Does Michael think he's just being a good big brother?
DG: He truly wants Kiefer out of Kristina's life, completely. But if he's gonna stay however long Kristina's going to allow it, then he'd better respect her!

SOW: So sending in the muscle is Michael flexing *his* muscles?
DG: Oh, yeah, absolutely. He's always wanted to do this, but now he has some clout. He's starting to get a small sense of importance, like he has a place in the Corinthos family business, so he's just taking the next step. He's running out his dad's guards on a job – which he's not really in a position to do – but I think he's on his little high horse. He's trying to follow in his dad's footsteps. He's trying to play that part and not go through his dad, but see if he can do it by himself. But right after that, Sonny lets him know that's not acceptable.

SOW: Was killing Claudia Michael's audition for a role in the organization?
DG: I don't think he's showing off, but deep down, he feels empowered by it. It's like, "I killed Claudia. It's too late to turn back." If his father is avoiding allowing Michael to participate in the business, Michael believes that his father is just in denial, that it's inevitable. And not only is it inevitable, it's already begun. He's already involved. For him to say, "[The business] doesn't have anything to do with me" is foolish. He's the one who killed her, so he feels like he's 100 percent invested and involved in everything now.

SOW: What is his relationship with Carly like now?
DG: At this point, he feels like he's powerful in some way, so he's going to be flexible with his mom because he respects her, but let her know that it's not going to be very long until he's an adult and she's not going to be able to call the shots. He's respectful with his mom and they're on relatively good terms. It's just a matter of what Michael has to do to make Carly happy.

SOW: So what *would* make her happy?
DG: His mom wants him to move back home, but he doesn't want to go home, because now he's got stuff to do within the business. He feels like Sonny understands and is proud of him. He wants to spend more time with his father and invest in the mob stuff, but his mom's not having it. Carly doesn't want Michael to go down this road. She's still set on him going to college and having a regular, ethical career.

SOW: So how does he end up going back with her to her house?
DG: She doesn't really give him much of an option – or rather, Sonny doesn't give him much of an option. Jason is a big influence in his move. Jason helps Carly persuade Sonny to let him go back to his mom's house. It's like a very short-term, "for now" thing. Michael is like, "Okay, I'll make you happy for now, Mom, but..." He's like, "Just wait till I'm 18, Mom, and then you'll see what really happens." He doesn't literally say, "I'm gonna be 18 soon," but he touches on the fact that he's going to be an adult, so it's not going to be much longer until he's making all of his own choices.

* Nikolas and Elizabeth have furtive coitus inside a hospital closet.
* Rebecca and Lucky talk story, about how great their love lives are right now.
* Elizabeth happens to hear Lucky speak highly of her to Rebecca and Rebecca speak highly of him for loving Liz. Like a knife twisting.
* Lucky’s commitment to and adoration of Elizabeth put Rebecca in awe.
* And yet, neither Rebecca or Lucky can shake that their loved ones are grappling with another matter that doesn’t involve them.
* Luke uncharacteristically admonishes Nikolas for snaking on his brother’s girl.
* Lucky makes sure he and Elizabeth are all alone before properly proposing to her and putting the bling on her finger. This serves to deepen Elizabeth’s disgrace.
* Discerning trouble beneath a seemingly calm and beautiful surface, Lucky tries to coax Elizabeth into letting it out and burdening him with her troubles.
* Elizabeth almost does as Lucky asks her to, but then Nikolas and Rebecca venture by.
* Elizabeth rebukes Nikolas for the thoughtless act of horning in on her outing with fiancé Lucky.
* Nikolas puts Elizabeth on the spot about trifling with Lucky.
* Elizabeth manages to set aside her lust for Nikolas long enough to do the deed with Lucky. Same with Nikolas and Rebecca.
* Nikolas pays his respects to Emily at her crypt on the Quartermaine grounds. That’s where Lucky goes too.
* Lucky mentions in passing to Nik that he and Elizabeth are at a great place now, now that they’ve made sweet love.
* Nikolas feels like Lucky punched him in the gonads with this lovemaking revelation.
* Elizabeth pours her guilt-addled heart out to Emily inside the crypt. She says she can’t help it, she loves Nikolas and Lucky, in different ways.
* Carly reams Jax over all he’s done, in the name of protecting her and her pregnancy. She voices her belief that he places Michael last in the list of importance. Then, she kicks his ass out.
* Carly stews over Jax’s faithlessness and treachery, pretty much over their marriage. She can’t get over how easily he allowed Claudia to continue breathing around Michael.
* Alexis steps in for her friend Jax and tries to make Carly see that he does deserve her pity and understanding. Get back with him now before things go too far.
* Carly relents a little, because she thinks about the effect Jax’s absence would have on their baby girl, Josslyn. So the big lug can move back in for now.
* Jason finds Michael’s gung-ho attitude about becoming a badass mob intern a little daunting and cause for worry. He goes to Sam and Carly with this problem.
* Jason and Carly would rather Sonny let Michael be for now, but it’s tough to do for the strong-willed mobster.
* Sonny and Carly have (another) tug of war over where Michael will stay.
* Because Michael messed with Keifer’s thing with Kristina, she has to suffer the consequences.
* Keifer goes off on Kristina. Think Chris Brown and Rihanna—but soap-rated.
* Kristina lets Keifer get away with his crap.
* Lisa, Patrick’s ex-girl toy from his playboy days, resurfaces to lean on him for a helping hand. Her presence doesn’t even compute with Robin. Maybe it should.
* Robin conveys to Patrick that they’re cool, Lisa’s not a problem.
* Johnny’s dispatch to Anthony of Claudia’s demise causes an explosive ripple effect, aimed back at Sonny. Believe it or not, Anthony is torn up about losing his daughter this way and means to exact his pound of flesh.
* Dominic alerts Sonny to a growing problem that has arisen since Claudia was felled. This is gonna wreck havoc on the uneasy peace between the two top mobs in town, one led by Sonny and one led by unspooled Anthony.
* Dominic scoops out ashes from Sonny’s fireplace for Ronnie to have examined.
* Jax envisions Claudia’s murder as the perfect means for Sonny to rot in Sing-Sing. Who cares if someone else did it? Not Jax.
* Dominic discusses Sonny’s case with Jax, talking about a lead that could pinpoint Sonny as Claudia’s downfall.
* Carly walks in on Jax and Dominic with their heads together, and goes, um hmm.
* Sonny has Luke broker an accord of some kind with Joey Limbo.
* Lulu wrestles with the full impact of knowing Dominic’s undercover assignment and how this might bring down her pal Sonny’s kingpin-dom.
* Olivia, of course, does her damnedest to keep Lulu in line about Dominic’s real mission and identity.
* Dominic saves face and his own ass.
* A new agent provocateur goes over the manner in which Claudia was bludgeoned to her death.
* Next week: Much to Jason and Carly’s horror, Michael walks around like he’s the next in line after Sonny, following his part in doing away with Claudia… Jason’s stalker locks in on Claudia’s demise… Jason’s stalker sends him a token, in the form of a picture, that seems quite upsetting… Dominic has been picked to link the package Jason received to the package sender… Dominic has his mom, Olivia, look at the picture of Claudia as a corpse… Michael, Sonny and Jason all better watch their backs, because one of them could be found guilty of murder in the eyes of the law… Anthony sics Joey Limbo on Sonny, no mercy… Lulu nearly goes over the edge after Luke enters into mob work under Sonny’s orders… Anthony’s lost it, because of Claudia. But maybe Johnny’s halfway there too, muses Dominic… Jason and Sonny are about to meet with peril… Jason’s agent provocateur saunters into view… Maxie meets a new boy in town… Lucky has a hunch Maxie might be able to enlighten him some more… Elizabeth tries to swear Luke to secrecy about her cheating on Lucky… Elizabeth gives herself to Nik again. This can’t and won’t end well.

Jason and Sam will have a major falling out, because of the drama surrounding Elizabeth (where’d she go?) and the turmoil to her children. Lucky and Elizabeth break up because of her whoring around with Nikolas who’s gone off the deep end. Lucky maintains custody of Elizabeth’s children out of spite, and Jason knows it. Lucky may wind up in Maxie’s orbit again, threatening her good thing with Spinelli. Jason rescues Elizabeth, and Sam reverts to type. Sam notices the new character James Franco takes on. The two of them hook up. Look for this reversal to wrap up and do everybody in by December. By February of next year, Guza will have successfully massacred Patrick and Robin’s marriage. –SD/Daytime Dish

"I'm sure any girl who has hormones is going to tune in." Berman is excited. It's great attention with soaps struggling right now.

"Talk about beautiful...he seems to be an actor's actor. It's commendable." LoCicero talks about the constraints daytime actors face and she's impressed that he wants to experience that and see what he can do with it.

SOD: On Franco (Reeves, York and Grahn)
"I hope that he shows up at the hospital," laughs Reeves. He thinks Franco will gain an appreciation for daytime that he may not have had before the experience.
York notes that his daughter, college-aged, is a big fan. Wall is plastered with his photos. She called dad and told him she's flying in.

Grahn notes that "it's wonderful," and like Franco she is curious about other mediums. On that note, she wants him to get her a role in a blockbuster movie. lol

SOD: Johnny Learns the truth... about Dominic.
"He's all over the place...Johnny's old recklessness resurface," notes Barash. He knew the truth had to come out but he was hoping against hope it wouldn't result in Claudia's death. "Johnny will displace a lot of his anger on Olivia." When Johnny finds a picture of Claudia's dead body, that Dom accidentally left behind, that happens.

Johnny later overhears Lulu/Dominic talking and realizes he's a cop. He's Olivia's son so he doesn't really want anything to happen to him. Johnny knows how Sonny reacts to betrayal. In concern to his growing anger towards Sonny, this is an ace in Johnny's pocket against him.

JOlivia? Even when they're furious at each other, the "passion doesn't just go away."

SOD: Second Opinions...
The AMC editor likes JJ's Lucky. She notes that GV and JJ are obviously not the same "type" and if she had not loved JJ the first time around she'd be rather irked. That said, she knows tons of viewers who watched years ago who are tuning in to see JJ back in the role. She says the triangle resonates more with the original players there and compliments Jackson's tender performances. All the originals being there gives her the warm and fuzzies - a feeling that's more often than not missing from soap viewing these days.

GH seemed to be gearing up for one heck of a new villian. Luke, Alexis & several others seemed to be gearing up to do battle with mysterious Vanentin. Viewers eagerly awaited Spencer/Cassidine fued.

Even Helena was willing to work with Luke. So, ummm, where is the much-discussed bastard Mikkos offspring?

"The Valentin story should pick up again in Winter or early Spring" reveals Guza.

What caused the show to pause? "We decided to delay Valentin so that we could give it our full attention once some other narratives were wrapped up"

Here comes Trouble!

A mystery man is stalking Jason...and he'll change Port Charles forever!

Get ready to see Jason in a whole new light as he questions his life & future thanks in part to the arrival of a mysterious artist.

Jason receives a disturbing delivery. Someone sends him pictures of Clod's dead body. "My first reaction is that someone knows Michael did it" says SBu "there are layers of everything else I need to be worried about, it could ruin us, and I wonder who has the proof.

"Michael is like my son who killed out of self-defense, but we decided to cover it up & now someone could pull the rug out from under us".

Jason asks Spinelli & Dom to look into it & figure out who sent the picture. Dom suspects Johnny has gone off the deep end & he's resposible. As a result of the much discussed picture Johnny comes into possession of a major secret when he overhears Lulu say Dom is a cop.

Meanwhile Sam & Spinelli are hired to oversee security at a gallery which has exhibit by the person who has been interested in Jason!

Jason wants out!

Having been reflecting on his career choice since he went in guns blazing on a woman & her kids Jason tells Sonny he wants to step back from the more violent aspects of his job.

Unfortunately a few days later he & Sonny are attached by Joey Limbo
"My character has grown a little bit, & it's making him re-evaluate what he really does. Leading up to the shoot out, you see him saying 'hey, I don't want to do this any more I don't want to be the enforcer. You can find someone else.' But then they are put in a situation where Jason's natural instincts to shoot without thinking, no hesitation, he thought, he just does it. He was born to do this."

Who is Franco?

Jason gets a glimpse of his stalker during a shoot out. "Franco is dressed as a homeless guy and witnesses the shootout" shars Burton "I just killed all these people, now this homeless guy is in the wrong place at the wrong time & sees the wrong thing. So do I kill him? That is the question"

But soon after the pieces start to get put together "I go to the gallery and France waves to me the same way the homeless guy did. That's when I realize things are getting weird."

"Franco is fascinated with death & crime scenes" reveals Burton "That's what his art reflects. He has a fascination with me cause I kill people. He likes to think he & I are the same. But we are not the same, and that's where we are going to have a problem."

Expect Franco's presense to make an already reflective Jason think more about his life. "It's definitely going to make Jason think about what he does I mean really think about it. This guy is messing with me, which you don't see too often! YOu're going to see a different side of me." says Burton.

And in the weeks to come it's not only Jason that is impacted by the newcomer. In fact at least one woman in Port Charles will succumb to the sexy artists charms (and trust us when the say the identity is a shocker!)

Hottest Story! Love is hard work for Spixie!

Althought Spixie are happy & in love, work is about to become the 3rd wheel in their relationship. Will their high maintenance jobs become their undoing?

This week Johnny warns Maxie not to tell anyone she saw the bloody handprint on Sonny's shirt cause her life could be in danger.

And if that is not enough she gets sucked into the Franco drama, a creepy photographer featured in Crimson. When she & lulu take a look at the crime-scene art installation they are both weirded out but chalk it up to the work of a reclusive genius.

Meanwhile Jason receives picture of Claudia dead on the cabin floor & think someone may know about Michael. They enlist Spinelli to get to the bottom. Is this too much stress for the young couple?

"Our careers are really calling us" says BA who points out since the non-wedding they are barely in scenes together. Is that bad news for Spixie or just a transition?

"It's tough because what stories can you tell about a functioning relationship? What are the challenges? What rae the victories? What are the fallbacks?"



"What I see happening is them both getting really tied to their work more. She's getting more responsibility and he is getting more into his work with Jason"

"Spinelli knew this was not the time to be married because opportunities are coming her way. he was right. I don't want the wedding to be the end of Spixie. I think a good majority of our viewers hope that is not the case. But it is much easier to write unhappiness then happiness"

Nik is the complete opposite in fatherhood. He has completely turned Spencer over to the nanny. Nik feels unequipped as a parent.

This is just one of the unconscious committment to 'becoming' a Cassidine. "The character flaws are much more interesting to watch. We human beings are flawed. It's easier to identify with someone who finally after all these years says "Wow I did not see that one coming!"

The transformation brings up all sorts of possibilities. Like what would happen if he choose his desire for lIZ over his love for his brother Lucky.

"I think the longterm goal is to reignite the fued between the 2 families, which was huge years ago" say TC "What better way to do that the to start sleeping with your brothers wife? It brings Luke in as well. His first instinct is to protect his son. So then we'll have that back to the way it was, too."

TC Interview Final

The "that" in the equation is the return of JJ as Lucky. While there was some chance that some viewers could accept victory in a Nik/lIZ/Lucky triangle with Greg Vaughan as his half sibling, christopher is very aware that with Jackson back, the scale tips in Lucky's favor.

"The fact that JJ is now playing Lucky will, as it should, shift towards them." he acquieces "It's nothing against anyone else who played Lucky. It's that Jonathan started the role and they created that couple together. But we are not going to give up on the story because of that. It's going to make it better."

Still there was a handful of diehard LL2 fans that went beserk when it was even hinted that Nik would have an affair with his former & fugure SIL.

"The big knock of the story is that Nik would never hurt anyone he loved, let alone a family member, meaning Lucky"

"I knew people were going to start ripping Nik & lIZ . I never go online, but I did & I wrote a blog. What I said was to hang on, that even though this is wrong and disgusting as the storyline plays out you will see it's more then lust for this woman. As it grows, you'll see he is willing to sacrifice everything for this woman. That is where the story is."
