I like the way Claudia is being played or portrayed. She is the male version of Sonny before he was diagnosed bi-polar. She always acts before thinking things through and is remorseful in the end.


I find it funny how many people hate Claudia when she acts like the mobster men. I guess the fans of GH couldn't take a woman acting in the same manner as Jason, Sonny or Alcazar. We weren't ready for a villianess to have the same balls as the men, be unapologetic in her choices or to want the same type of power as Sonny.

I feel bad that we could not embrace her strength and kutzpah so that there will be other strong willed villianess characters on this show. It is the one thing GH lacks. Helena is a game player and all her killing/zaniness is off camera. Other soaps have villianess that put Claudia to shame. Women we love to hate. Women we want to pay but never do in the end. Women like Sonny, Jason, etc.

Instead of crazy hatred how about helping to retain a talented emmy carrying actress and demand TPTB give this villianess a storyline that makes her shine.

It's a shame that fans of GH constantly ripped the character when they like the same in the men. Heck Luke raped Laura, Sonny and Jason kill for a living. Almost all the women on the show are portrayed as weak, neurotic or waiting for the love a good/bad man. Claudia's character deviated from that pattern. Take a look at Kate on Days, Dorian on OLTL, etc.
