Last week when Sonny was away with Claudia, something about those sceens made me think that Sonny knew then that Claudia was responsbile for Michael's shooting. As this week unfolds and Jason tells him and he doesn't react, it seems clear to me that Sonny already knows what Jason is telling him. I think this is the reason for the party. I just don't know how he figured things out. |

It seemed to me like when they were in P/R Sonny was developing some REAL feelings for her and thinking that she really was a good match for him. I felt his scilence with Jason playing the tape was his shock at how he was SOOO wrong about her. And his anger at how she fooled him for so long about being responcible for his son being shot.... seemed like alot for him to take in at once. |

Not me. I think Sonny was as clueless as he usually is. There's a light on there but nobody's at home. |

I have to agree with the original poster...I feel like we will be surprised with finding out the Sonny has been on to Claudia for a while now...becuase i saw like a little smirk on Sonny's face after hearing the dvd...it leads me to think he knew but just could not find the proof. |

Hmmmm TOH...I always have such a low opinion of Sonny's smarts these days that I didn't really pay attention. It would make for an interesting twist. |

i think the whole thing was ric and jason both were feeding him this story about claudia. sonny thought ric was jelious and jason hates her. noone had prove so sonny let it go. i think sonny really thought maybe he found someone who excepts him for what he does. |

Sonny had NO clue before and now that he knows, I think Sonny is going to deal with it in his own way. He is angry and feels betrayed (though really he married a fellow mobster for power, should he really be THAT shocked?) and I think that this is just the calm before the Monsoon!

Sorry for the Sonny-bashing clalvis. Actually, I'd like to state for the record that I LOVED Sonny today...the old Sonny (that I once adored) was back, flashing his dimples; making everyone wonder just what he was up to; being smart and charming and devious...my goodness, it was a wonderful show with Sonny doing what he does best... I'm sure my Sonny-bashing days are not over but if I could get today's Sonny everyday, I might cut him some slack.

He did a GREAT statue at the party today! You really do need to make sure the gas tank is filled and the tires are in good working order on your bus and take it over to Claudia's party! |
