General Hospital - MESSAGE BOARDS

I think every time someone uses "I" as the object of a preposition, it should be worth a double-shot. Today, Lucky did it. "That's between mom and I."

Me! Me me me me me me me! Between mom and ME. ā€œIā€ is a nominative pronoun and is used as a subject or a sentence or clause, never as the object of a preposition.

I realize I make a lot of grammar mistakes, so I don't claim to be the grammar police. It's just that, for some reason, that little verbal quirk has the same effect on me that raking fingernails across a chalkboard has on other people. I think I've heard every single character do it, so it has to be the writers.

So, without resorting to character bashing, what would you nominate for aa double-shot in a GH drinking game?

I've got a few.

Everytime someone mentions Carly's precarious pregnancy.
Everytime Sam runs her hands through her hair.
Everytime Spinelli talks about himself in the third person.
Everytime Claudia threatens to tell Olivia's secret.
Everytime anyone asks Michael if he's okay (if there's doubt - bring him to a freaking doctor!!!!)
Everytime Luke get drunk.

Oh...this is fun...Let me think about this more.

We'd all have alcohol poisoning before the half hour mark! LOL!

Actually, that would happen if we took a drink every time Luke or Ethan did without all this other stuff.

Another of my peeves that would be worth a shot -- when someone pauses, then says the name of the person they are talking to as if they just realized what it was and there's only the two of them in the room. e.g. "You're my brother...Johnny...and you have to be one my side."

Everytime Jason squints instead of talking.
Everytime Dante takes off his shirt (that's a cheers!)
Everytime Sam looks at the ceiling while talking.
Everytime Liz tells Lucky she loves him but then looks guilty for it.
Everytime Liz tells Nik they can't do this.
Everytime Sonny is onscreen (I need a drink to watch him).
Everytime Michael's name is mentioned (oh boy I don't think I would make it to the end of the show!)

Ok this hasn't been said on the show but one of the BIGGEST pet peeves (and I've said this on here before) I have that people say is "irregardless." It's not even a word and it just drives me CRAZY and makes me to want to pull out a dictionary and say "the word is REGARDLESS!!!!!!!" I don't know why it bothers me so much?! lol

Every time the phrase "amazing woman" is uttered.

Yesterday we could have drank everytime Michael said " I have to tell my dad about Claudia".

Every time Olivia is on screen.
Every time Dante flirts with Lulu
Everytime Spin says "maximista"

Speaking of Spinelli. Anyone else find it easier to understand what he's saying when you have alcohol in your system? After a few, I can keep up and reply to him in his own language.
