No one as said Lucky never cheated or is a saint. All I am saying is that he is NOT doing any of that now. The past mistakes of BOTH Liz and Lucky have been forgive by each other. What I am saying is that Liz is NOW being unfair to and treating Lucky bad.[/quote]

I agree NM, the past is OVER! They have moved on and what matters is what's happening TODAY. Lucky obviously loves Liz very much and I do hate that he's going to be so hurt by this.

I know, I think the main focus of this thread is what is going on NOW, not what happened in the past.

Both Liz and Lucky have forgiven each other. I don't get the logic that because Lucky made mistakes and treated Liz bad in the PAST means that it is NOW okay for Liz to do what SHE is now doing.[/quote]

I don't think AT ALL that what Liz is doing now is ok BUT the past DOES affect a CURRENT relationship. Whether they have forgiven each other or not, the hurt is still there and it doesn't mean that bygones are bygones, it just means they are forgiven...not necessarily forgotten. They hurt each other pretty badly and even though Lucky is willing to move on from it, Liz OBVIOUSLY doesn't want to be with Lucky again.

I just wish Liz would smarten her a$$ up and tell Lucky IT'S OVER then tell Nik, thanks for the distraction (or I'd say more the "excuse"). She needs to stay OUT of a relationship for a bit and find some hot doctor to play doctor with if she needs "company". While staying single, she can figure out what it is she REALLY wants!

And, I can say that I detest Lucky for the trickery he tries to pull on her. He hasn't changed not one bit. It is just a different actor playing the same role.

If you don't see it then you probably never will because I saw and heard Lizzie telling Lucky that she wanted them to take it slowly and not announce their engagement to anyone; but, to seek counseling. Right after he agreed to keep that promise he dashes to Wyndermere to tell Nik that he and Lizzie are engage again and it was ok for Becca to know too. Then the icing on the cake, turns around and gives her a surprise engagement party.

Lucky could have respected her request. He knew she had doubts about them remarrying. That was being manipulative and in a sense it is the same as trickery to me.

Patient: "He wasn't too patient because patients would have waited like she requested. Supportive: In what way was he supportive? He was being Lucky wanting what he wanted. And, Loving: Yes Lucky loves her and he loves controlling her too. HOW DARE HE!!!!!!!You are right about that!


this whole post made me laugh. talking about lucky being disrespectful... yet liz is telling him she loves him one minute and making out with his brother the next. at least lucky isn't lying to HER FACE and hiding things from her. at least he apologized for springing the engagement party on her. liz is exactly right when she questions why he is so good to her.

gotta love those rose colored glasses. i should get a pair.


I have to agree with the bolded part as I was going to say the same thing. I do think that Lucky is pushing Liz into something she isn't ready for (the engagement party was wrong and Lucky's usual way of manipulating the situation to make it how HE wants it) BUT Liz is manipulating him by saying she loves him and wants him and then goes to Nik.

I can UNDERSTAND what she's doing. She DOES want the life she's saying she wants, and saying it I think she actually believes it, BUT she doesn't want it with Lucky (but is doing it because it's what everyone else wants and it's what she SHOULD want for the boys). Nik is her EXCUSE for thinking being with Lucky is wrong, instead of actually admitting to herself that she doesn't want Lucky. I just wish Liz would start admitting the truth to HERSELF FIRST and then Lucky. It's time this pairing MOVED ON from each other!

Not to sound rude Katie (and I know it will but I don't mean it to) but don't you have a pair of those glasses?

Okay, I am enjoying talking about this s/l and getting everyones opinions. It's a controversial s/l IMO and those will always be talked about.

I would never turn off the show or ff because I don't like what a certain character's s/l.


Gosh just think of what you'd be missing these days if you were not watching the show because you're upset about one character or couple. Me...I'm not strong enough for that...I couldn't stand the thought of missing all the goodies GH is sending our way.


What if you aren't even enjoying what your faves are doing, let alone your NOT so faves (I know bad grammar)? Do you watch anyways and not enjoy yourself or do you stop watching until something is on that you can enjoy? I'd opt for the latter (and have done it MANY times).

- Alexis is being made to be a horrible person for trying to protect her kids.
- Don't enjoy Kristina and Molly AT ALL.
- Don't enjoy watching Liz right now (yes I just said that) - Get her away from Nik and Lucky and I can enjoy her again.
- Don't enjoy watching Jason right now (TOO MANY reasons to say and it's not JUST because of a pairing).
- The Q's have all but disappeared (they used to be the favourite part of my watching).
- Mac is shown to be an idiot (another fave made to look like an idiot).
- Was enjoying Scrubs but now even THEY are tied into Sonny's business.
- Luke isn't there enough to care about him much anymore.
- I thought JJ would bring me back in and he did that first day but even he can't hold my interest since his storyline is what it is. (NOW if they were to move JJ on from Liz and make his story more about him and Luke, I could get back into BOTH of them. This is the reason I was excited for JJ's return anyways).
- Haven't been a fan of Nik's since before he was with Em.
- Rebecca...JUST UGH!
- They RUINED my excitement for Sarah Brown with that HORRIBLE character.
- Olivia, the once strong woman, has turned into another of Sonny's jellyfish.
- Sonny himself, well there isn't time.
- Spixie. I am SOO happy that they have each found someone who loves them truly BUT the fact that Spin is the male version of Sonny's women (their significant other is their whole world and they can't talk about anything else and in Spin talk, that's A LOT to take ) makes it VERY unenjoyable for me. I was hoping this would grow Spin up some and see him in the REAL WORLD, with REAL WORLD issues, instead of cyberspace all the time, but he is still living at Jason's (why don't he and Maxie have a place of their own?) in cyberspace.

The only thing I am REALLY enjoying is Dante and Lulu's flirting. Since it's only about 3 minutes of a whole show, not sure if it's worth wasting an hour on (hopefully when Dante finds out Sonny is his dad, we won't have to be subjected to ANOTHER character ruined by being a Sonny worshipper). I am looking forward to seeing Sonny go apecrazy tomorrow though, even if he is going to be a hypocrite to do so.

Oh wait, I am enjoying Johnny FINALLY (and I do like him and Olivia BUT this whole secret thing is making Olivia unenjoyable, which in turn makes me tune out and miss a lot of Johnny's stuff) and will hopefully enjoy him more once Claudia is gone.

If they would STOP everyone's stories revolving around Sonny, perhaps I could go back to enjoying the GH I used to! If they got rid of Sonny, I think that I could enjoy a lot of the show again because people could live their OWN lives, instead of Sonny's!

I've left GH MANY times and came back again when there is something I know I will enjoy. I am hoping this time (I haven't COMPLETELY stopped watching because I am TRYING to enjoy though I find I'm muting and/or changing the channel more than I'm watching), it will be sooner than later.

Sorry about the rant, just trying to let others know that it's not ALWAYS JUST ABOUT a pairing or ONE character. I know others are enjoying it all and that's great and I hope you continue to.

Well it sure makes ME happy! I have never believed that it's diamonds that are a girls best friend....give me a bar of chocolate over a diamond ANYDAY! (Though if I got the diamond, I could sell it and buy a whole BUNCH of chocolate! Hmm?????

I'm aware gen that not all of the folks who are upset about the show feel that way because of what's happening with one fave character/couple. I don't think anything in my post indicated otherwise. Sorry you're not enjoying the show...I think it's really great now and I see loads of other folks (here and other places) who feel the same. It's particularly gratifying to see people who have had issues with the show for a long while now saying that they think it's getting back on the right path. GH is fun for me; I don't ever take it that seriously. If it ever stops being fun, I'll stop watching it.
