Liz Doesn't Deserve Someone As Good As Lucky Period.

If you don't see it then you probably never will because I saw and heard Lizzie telling Lucky that she wanted them to take it slowly and not announce their engagement to anyone; but, to seek counseling. Right after he agreed to keep that promise he dashes to Wyndermere to tell Nik that he and Lizzie are engage again and it was ok for Becca to know too. Then the icing on the cake, turns around and gives her a surprise engagement party.

Lucky could have respected her request. He knew she had doubts about them remarrying. That was being manipulative and in a sense it is the same as trickery to me.

Patient: "He wasn't too patient because patients would have waited like she requested. Supportive: In what way was he supportive? He was being Lucky wanting what he wanted. And, Loving: Yes Lucky loves her and he loves controlling her too. HOW DARE HE!!!!!!!You are right about that!

I am one that doesn't feel sorry for JJ's Lucky just b/c I remember how he and Liz were the 1st time around. Lucky has done many rotten things to her and always needed his ego stroked. IMO it's not fair to blame all of this on Liz when he did his fair share.

I'm with you Meowbowow, Lucky is no saint, he didn't take his marriage vows seriously when he got into drugs and slept with Maxie. Liz should not carry all the blame.

I agree with you. Both characters have hurt each other in the past. You hurt the ones you love unfortunatly.

I agree. Lucky is far from being a saint, it just looks like he is one now. However just four months ago him and Liz were broken up and she had no problem with him dating Rebecca. And he did, even though she looked like his dead sister in law and it bothered Nick. Rebecca made it clear she wanted Nick and now he decided he wants Liz. So she is supposed to turn herself on like a faucet because he is ready to settle down. She has indicated for almost two months she is unsure and/or not ready however he keeps putting her on the spot, forcing her to make a decision she is obviously not ready to make. You would think he would get the hint that something is wrong if she can not sleep with him, after they were married in the past.

No she shouldn't. She's wrong in this situation too but so is Lucky as the poster said he shouldn't have announced their engagement or thrown that party when she said she wanted to take it slow.

So if someone messes up it's OK to punish them years and years and years later???..... Ummmm OK. Since EVERYONE on the show is guilty of making bad decisons at one point or another in their life I guess that means they all DESERVE whatever rotten things people do to them. So if I guess according to this theory Liz DESERVED to have Jake kidnapped, after all she has made poor choices in her life too. She's no saint...... I see, ya that makes sence.

EXACTLY!! and you'd think he would ask her what's wrong and try and talk it out w/her instead of forcing their relationship like he's been doing. That is so NOT kosher and he really needs to back off for a bit and give her the time she asked for. And no, she's NOT perfect!!

this whole post made me laugh. talking about lucky being disrespectful... yet liz is telling him she loves him one minute and making out with his brother the next. at least lucky isn't lying to HER FACE and hiding things from her. at least he apologized for springing the engagement party on her. liz is exactly right when she questions why he is so good to her.

gotta love those rose colored glasses. i should get a pair.

This is how I'm going to answer your question and I hope it makes sense to you.

The problem that I have with GH is that they play dirty because no one can play Lucky Spencer the way Jonathan Jackson plays Lucky. JJ's Lucky is Luke’s son in every way. He is a young mini Luke. He is a smooth operator just like his daddy and a bit of a con artist like his daddy. JJ's Lucky is not Greg Vaughan's Lucky. JJ plays Lucky shrewd in a very subtle way and he does not forgive easily.

As I watched the hospital scene I said to myself yep, Lucky is back. Lucky knows something is up with Lizzie and he plays on her emotions and guilt. He understood exactly what his father was hinting at; thus, the probing begins to find out what she is hiding. He knows he has lost some of his control over her and he is reeling her back in. Old proverb says, "You can catch more flies with honey than with vinegar." This Lucky is street smart.

I agree with you gotta love those rose colored glasses and again I agree with you, you should get a pair because apparenly you see Lucky the same way I apparently see Lizzie.
