ABCSoapsInDepth on Twitter just posted that Natalia Livingston is leaving GH

There's an article posted about it.

And tomorrow if they announce that Amber Tamblyn will be reprising the role...I'm gonna shyt myself because that will be the coup of the century and probably bring GH above Y&R in the ratings.

My bet is that rebecca will quit her job as a lab tech ro whatever it is she does at GH and they spun it to be NL leaves GH...

Did that makes sense to anyone else cause in my head it makes perfect sense...

I happen to like NL.


Don't get me wrong...I like her too...Not the role of Rebecca but I don't think it was her fault that the character was not well thought out or written.

I was just reporting the tweet I got.

If you read carefully, it says shes leaving the "role" of Rebecca. I've heard rumors that somehow she will be Emily. So I don't think NL is necessarily leaving. They're just scrapping the whole twin sister thing

I see what your saying but why would they need to tell us that? I think many of us think she will be Emily some how/some way very soon.

I do like NL and if she is staying, I hope they give her more to work with. She is a great actress, seems she has been given the short end of the stick at times.

I feel as though they're letting us know about the departure as a ratings ploy. But I don't think NL is going anywhere. You know I was actually excited about her playing a different character, but I don't think the actress conveys enough range to play someone completely different who happens to look like her. So the writers decided to scrap the idea of a "twin" b/c ultimately NL is best a portraying Emily Quartermaine.

Hey now don't even TEASE me that way even if you are joking! I thought I was dancing for JJ's return, AT returning would have me doing kartwheels!

Oh I had read somewhere last night (either EW.com or TV Guide Soaps) that NL was leaving as well. Can I do a happy dance for that?

I swear...after the last two weeks of announcements (with JJ, JF and a WEBBER being cast), absolutely nothing would surprise me...

I wish NL no ill will...she's stunningly beautiful and a terrific young actress but the character is a train wreck.

You know I have to say, she was MUCH more enjoyable as the "original" Rebecca, before they Emily-fied her. Now she's just dull Em again, with a different name.

To me, no offense to NL, AT's Emily is like JJ's Lucky, there are some roles where you just can't beat the original!

See I agreed with you all the way up until the last part. I actually prefer GV to JJ. But we're debating that in another post.
