Why is Kate so hell-bent on exposing Dante as Sonny's son?

I know the (tired) argument about how Sonny should know who his child is and vice versa, but somehow I just don't believe Kate, who wouldn't even admit to being a Falconari until forced to do so, is all about moral fiber and family fidelity. It doesn't feel like this is about Dante at all, really. She may THINK she wants to tell because of truth, justice and the American way, but it's almost like she has an unconscious motivation.

I'm not sure the writer's have thought this out very well. Having been shot herself (Twice?) because of Sonny and having watched Michael get shot in front of her, I'd think Kate would be the first one to make sure Sonny and Dante do NOT find out about their relationship.

It seems like the writers are trying to redeem her and make her look like she is changing because she is realizing what a mistake she made giving up her family was. that is why she is trying to get olivia to tell the truth because i think that once sonny and dante know they are father and son sonny is not gonna kill his son and dante will most likely not want to put his own father in jail or he will think about it a little harder
However if they do not find out dante wont hesitate to put sonny in jail and sonny wont hesitate to kill dante.
As far as kate i love the new her but i dont think she is being kate now she is finally being connie and i love it!!!!

I do like the new Kate (and I liked the old Kate before Sonny sucked her dry of any backbone) except for her hounding on the Dante topic. It just feels contrived.
Why should she give a flip about a man who not only got her shot at her wedding, but has apparently forgotten she ever existed?

thats so true!! i completely agree with you on the whole sonny thing however she should care about her family and there is a possibility that dante could get killed and she wants to prevent that olivia needs to realize that telling at least dante (she doesn't need to tell sonny!) can save him because i really can not see sonny getting caught for anything as much as that annoys me.

i have a suspicion that she wouldnt be as miserable if she was going steady with coleman i like them together

I never really cared for Olivia. She came in spouting her highhanded BH morals, spitting on Connie's need to break free of the old baggage, and yet she was carrying some of her own.


I think Kate has a motive...but I recall Olivia 'doing the good will of society' when she was knocking her ghetto azz around P.C. like she owned the place.

I wasn't listening to her any more than I was listening with intent to Kate...until Kate made mention of dual to death with Sonny and Dante. Then I started to listen. And loved hearing Guza's mouth speaking as Olivia--"that's why I stuck around P.C. So long"

Guza please! Olivia was around for the count when she came on set...that Dante/FBI thing was a backpedal. A good dynamic...but we all know that this isn't going to go down sweet.

Dante IMHO is coming to the PCPD. And GH will attempt to do to the mob what they tried to do with Taggert/Cruz.

I think Lucky is secretly going to the FBI. JMHO.
