General Hospital - MESSAGE BOARDS

Ok 1st off, This is maybe my second time posting so I'm really new to this. But I've been reading alot off the threads in the past 11/2 so that's what I'm going on ok. Bear with me. Second I've been watching Gh since I was abt 8 yrs old so abt 18 yrs now on and off, more on then off. I don't really have any favorites, I love the show as a whole so keep that in mind please.

So my questions is why is it always the women of GH that get called out. I rarely ever read anything abt the Men of GH and if I do it's not very often. People are wondering why Claudia's being thrown to the wolves and Sam's getting away with what she did? Well I want to know why Johnny who was also in on Claudia crazy scheme is not getting any heat. He gets to move on and have a love life with Olivia and work with Sonny who's son was shot and have a friendship with Jason who is trying to get Claudia. I could be mistaken but I'm pretty sure Johnny knew what Claudia was up to? So if Jason is going after claudia because of the shooting then why isn't Johnny going down with her. She may have made the call but HE KNEW AND AGREED TO IT. I don't care if it was an ACCIDENT, it resulted in a child being shot in the head. But that is rarely discussed. I like johnny so it's nothing against him I'm just asking.

Another thing, people are saying Jason is ooc. Maybe because of how he's being written,I think it's just lazy writing by the writers, because they want claudia out so they are having jason do it. Bad writing. I hear Jason is a hypocrite because he's with Sam again. But I never hear that he's an A** for what he did to both Liz and Sam. He had a child with another women after years of being with Sam,while I know there were alot of people out there that were so happy abt it, I was disgusted. I watched my sister for years struggle to have a baby and it was heartbreaking to watch. Every child was a constant reminder of what she didn't have ,i could imagine what she would have done if her husband had a child with someone else. It was his responsibility to tell Sam abt Jake,Not Liz's, but the only thing I heard Liz is wrong because she told Jason not to say anything. She wasn't the one in the 2 1/2year relationship with Sam. She's not the one who said "I've never loved anyone like I've loved you" to Sam. She's not the one who kept it a secret. It's Jason's FAULT. If he had told Sam maybe the it would have been a different out come. Who knows?

When Sonny kissed Olivia, again it was Olivia's a Ho. Ummm I don't remember her raping him but hey I have missed a few show so maybe I missed that episode.I if did please fill me in.

Anyways Sorry abt the long post but I really would like to hear what you all have to say. Again I have no favorites. I prefer some storyline over others but I usually watch for the whole show. This not a jasam Liason war zone it's a Make the men pay too war,just making that clear.

Well, I agree with some of what you're saying. Since this is mostly women on here, I would say somewhat generally that women do seem to be harder on other women than on the men...but not always.

For example, there is a thread here called the ex-JoLu fan thread. That thread is chock full of bashing on Johnny and ♫ every breath he takes, every move he makes. ♫

There was also a thread going for a while called Jason is a Punk for those of us, including myself, who are sick of Jason getting off the hook for all his bad behavior while the women take the brunt of it.

Finally, on any given day, there is usually an I can't stand Sonny thread, because a good majority of us here are quite sick of him with his promiscuous ways and criminal behavior. Lots of us would love to see him go down.

So take heart! Things are not always as they seem!

Can I just say first and foremost I have honestly never even thought about it like that before.....You raise come good points it has always been which one of the women are at fault....


I love jason but he was an A@@ for not owning up to his error in the whole situation and for getting one pregnant and keeping it from the other....


and you would be correct Johnny did know about the hit on sonny...granite he def showed more sympathy and regret then claudia did, and I think hat is why some of us have overlooked it is that johnny is deeply sorry for michael getting shot. and to all the Johnny lovers out there...DO not THROW THINGS AT ME PLEASE! (lol) he is technically an accessorry bc he knew and helped his sister cover it up...

We connect with one characer or another and that character is the one we see ourselves as.

We as women see other women as our rivals not the men. Therefore it has to be the womans fault not the mans. We see it everyday in girls and women whose boyfriends or husbands have had an affair. They can be hurt by the male but it's laid at the females feet so we can keep the relationship established between the pairing. If we blame the man and he wholes responibility then how can we except him back? We can't.

As ghfanfare has said, there have been many male bashing threads as well. I've done my fair share of Sonny, Lucky, and Jax bashing if that counts. I bashed Johnny once upon a time, but he's just too d@mn hot to be mad at for too long.

As far as the Johnny/Claudia situation goes, I DO blame Claudia MUCH more than I blame Johnny. Johnny wanted to kill Sonny himself, but Claudia thought he should not get involved and SHE ordered the hit. Yes, he knew about her putting a hit on Sonny, but he knew NO other detail as far as when, where, who, etc....... If Claudia had let her brother be a big boy and handle the hit himself it would have been a whole different story, but it was because of Claudia and HER ignorance that an incompetent loser who would fire a gun with a child present was hired and Michael got shot.

Ok 1st Clavis See that's the thing I know both of them are hot so it probably is one of the many reasons lol. NM Ghfanfare and only you guys are right Sonny is called out quite often. I just don't really care for him so I threw him in the mix,lol. ghfanfare so I took your advice and ventured into the jolu thread. Wow that was a breath of fresh air. I've never been in that thread because I never cared for the couple, but that was really something else.

I'm not sure if I'm getting this part. Are you saying, the female has to be blamed to make the male look better or so they can use that to keep the relationship together? Maybe I'm just be a total femminist or hey maybe i'm just crazy, but I would prefer to actual see Jason and Johnny both say hey I screwed up, then from there I'll move on.

Johnny is a part of what happened so why is his part being swept under the rug. So he can be with Olivia?
