General Hospital - MESSAGE BOARDS

When people interrupt the flow of the thread, with personal and (you have to know them) conversations/posts?

I use to think not. Thats when I knew most everyone posting and enjoyed reading their "hows life" comments.

But, I can see it would be annoying, especially if I did not know (or did not like them) the other posters.

Ooo, it is annoying though, when the discussion is getting good and someone stops midway through to ask about their day or the weather. hate that.


BTW_ was just guilty of doing this with Cardgirl, so I thought I would post about it and see if I was annoying anyone.

Well it is not annoying to me especially when I get to talk to you. Personally, I think it adds to the comeradery of the board when people who have posted so long that get know other posters personally. I would have never gotten to meet you in person if were not for this board so I think it is a good thing. But I do think it should be kept to a minimum. By the way... read your email.

I don't necessarily find it annoying unless it turns into a multiple page discussion which could be done through pm.

It doesn't bother me unless it goes on for so long that the original thread topic is lost.
