i ws just watching to previews for JJ (johnathan jacksons) return and they said "elizabeths first love returns, and when she answers the door he asks if she remembers him...... could it be that maybe when lucky had his "face change" after the fire it wasnt really lucky that came back. that maybe GV's character is maybe somebody else, like another secret cassadine or something and maybe that would makes sense on why hes not the lucky that he was before the fire?????????? i love GV, but i dont like the way luckys been for a while and this could redeam the character! just an idea, but it could work!

But then they have to tackle Lucky's attachment to the boys, his job choice, and a whole slew of other things that have taken place over ten years -- including what the motivation would have been to assume this whole other identity for so long.

They would have a really hard time selling me on that given how completely different GV and JJ look, too. You'd think someone would notice Lucky having a completely different body build or being nearly six inches taller or having differnet eye and hair color. I think that's why the only tme "swtich" s/l's work at all (not that they ever work well) is if one actor plays both roles or a lot of time passes between seeing the character. I just can't see it. It would make Casey the Space Alien look like a realistic s/l.

Actually, I hope they are going to write it that way. This would totally explain why Lucky has acted so un Lucky like. He was gone long enough after the fire that the change in appearance would not make that much of a difference. That and if you were so glad somebody you thought was dead is alive, you may not stop to think about them not looking like they did when the died.

When Lucky "died" in the fire it would make sense that his face may not look the same when he came back. And it easy to expain that he might have grown while he was gone. So, I don't think it is that unbelievable.

And it would go along with the story that the Cassidine's especially Helena are crazy. And if they pair the "real" Lucky coming back with the Valintine story arch. It could really make sense that somebody other than the real Lucky was sent back and the real Lucky was being held somewhere.

The only thing that would not make sense is that Helena brought Lucky back and was brainwashing him. Now her not knowing that it was not really Lucky might not make sense. But that could be explained away that she did know it was not Lucky all along and she was teaming up with Valintine and he double crossed her somehow or vice versa and he is now going to set the real Lucky free to get to her.

This is just speculation on my part, and I can't wait to see how it plays out. And I certainly can't wait for JJ to come back. Now they just need to bring back Laura and the whole family can be together.

I've actually been thinking/hoping for this ever since i heard JJ was returning...I think they can pull of a "fake lucky" storyline and it would turn a lot of viewers to the show and help generate even more commotion and fun...

Sadly i dont think it will happen though because they'd need GV to stay on for a little while and try to explain himself as a "fake lucky" so i doubt it happens.

It would've been such a great storyline to follow though!

yea the only way they can make a jj return a success is if the gv Lucky was an imposter and jj's lucky has been held captive for ten years and not by helena but by stephan bc when luke and felicia found lucky all those years ago stephan was first to get to him which would mean they would have to bring back another old school cassidine somehow which would be just awesome
