I swear they love giving us stuff to hate on. do they get a thrill out of angry fans? why can't we have more hospital. more family stuff. why mob all the time it is irratating. why do they focus on only a few characters at a time?

I think that they do things that they know will make some happy and some very mad. That way, the show is discussed and debated. I guess they think the more talk/debate that the show has, the more viewers they will gain. JMO

I too am loving GH right now. I actually like the mob part of the show...that is what makes it diffeent than the other soaps. I know that people want to see less of the mob but I do not see that happening anytime soon.

To get rid of the mob would change the whole show's dinamics and allienate a lot of the characters. To get rid of the mob would change the canvas of GH and I totally do not want to see that happen...

So here is to loving GH

It is a fact that the majority of GH centers around the mob, but I think they are doing a better job of branching out. Currently we have the Kristina/Keifer sex story, Carly/Jax baby story (and I know that the Claudia/Michael issue brings it a little into Mob story territory, but I still consider her and her baby mob free), Nik/Lucky and Liz, Helena and her Cassadine plot involving Valentine, and Lulu and Dante (although I know Dante is mob related, but he's a COP so that doesn't count for me). There's NO WAY the writers can please all people all the time hence there will always be something that makes someone mad. I think they are doing a pretty good job keeping it balanced these days.

I love the mob it is just they need a break cuz they are hogging the show when there are other characters who deserve a chance to get a storyline

another thing is sonny or his brood are involved in every storyline. we really don't to see much other families outside of sonny's.

I don't think they have to go Mob-free just maybe Mob-lite. When Sonny first came on the scene they were able to do his mob stuff and alot of other things. I think the writers might want to rewatch some of the early to mid-nineties stuff to see how it can be done. I keep feeling like the show is about to get better but the storylines are kind of dragging out and going too slow. I wish they would pick up the pace a little and make something happen.

The writers are not making me angry. I think the show has been rockin' of late. I do not see that they're only showcasing a few characters. While I believe this has definitely been a problem with GH in the past, right now they're using nearly the full ensemble. On yesterday's show alone, we saw Dante, Spin, Jason, Sam, Robin, Patty, Carly, Michael, Jax, Sonny, Claudia, Ronnie, Max, Diane, Alexis...gosh, did I miss anyone?

I don't mind the mob stuff (it's been a part of GH for a very long time) so long as it focuses on the family dysfunction resulting from it, which has been happening lately. I like the hospital stories but, frankly, they can get boring. I really love what they're doing with Robin and Patty doing a little detective work on the side...brings the hospital front-and-center but allows for a little more excitement. I also think we're getting our families back. Just this week, we had the Spencer family gathering...made even more wonderful by Luke welcoming his son Ethan to the family.

Plus, GH is finally giving us romantic couples again! For so long, we'd only had Scrubs and CarJax. Now, in addition, we have Jasam; Spixie; a triangle with Liz, Nik & Lucky; a developing romance for DanLu; Jolivia...I don't even love all of the couples but I LOVE that there are couples on my screen.

I really like the changes I'm seeing being made on GH and sweeps is going to be spectacular...Jonathan Jackson back where he belongs and James Freakin' Franco...what fun!
