Wouldn't Nik have been invited to the "Engagement" party?

Wouldn't Nik have been invited to the "Engagement" party?

Lucky surprised Liz with the "Engagement" party but she had just left Nik so wouldn't Nik have been invited to it and given her a heads up (knowing Liz was going to talk to Lucky RIGHT THEN about ending it with Lucky especially)?

I know he said they will stay away from each other so he obviously wouldn't be going but he HAD to have known about it! Is this just another case of TPTB forgetting part of the history and that Nik and Lucky are brothers so he would been invited to the "Engagement" party?

That's another good point b/c he knew Liz was going to tell Lucky the truth when she got to his house. It will be interesting to see what happens today.

My opinion is that as usual Liz will chicken out..... but I too thought it was stupid that even Bobby knew about the party and was there but Nic was clueless, it didn't make any sence. I just wish Liz would tell the truth already and put poor Lucky out of his misery.

Talk about a wash, rinse, and repeat s/l. Please soap gawds, how many more times must we endure this painful LL2 crapola? ITA w/u, TELL THE TRUTH AND MOVE ON, and I want never to see or hear of this couple EVER FREAKING AGAIN!!

I agree! I was so excited for LL2 at first but after all the lies and betrayal I honestly am looking forward to Nic and Liz getting thier just desserts. I can't WAIT for Nic to find out Rebecca is really Emily (which is what I THINK is going to happen) casuse I think we all know that once he finds out he's going to REALLY want her back.
What I don't get is if Nic isn't doing the whole revenge thing with Rebecca anymore why is he still with her if he doesn't like her..... that's just stupid

maybe nik didn't get the memo. or because it was a surprise... he did know about it, but clearly wasn't going to tell liz about it, and he already told lucky he couldn't make it.....or he was hiding in the laundry chute with spencer.

I don't get the whole Rebecca revenge/non-revenge, I want you, don't like you but I'll keep you and maybe treat you as "mine" but still don't want you thing AT ALL.

I am hoping Lucky says: "Nik, you didn't want me to have Rebecca because she looked like Em so I backed off because you are my brother but then you move to my ex-wife and think THAT'S ok? I want nothing to do with you!"

Then to Liz: "I don't want you anymore and we will NEVER be with you again." Oh that would SO make my day! I just hope Lucky doesn't turn this into a reason to try to fight for the boys because that will just be ANOTHER rinse, repeat, recycle.

Also, if Nik then wants Rebecca (if she becomes Em as you want GHP), then THANK GOODNESS Liz will be single (AND away from Nik) to figure out HERSELF and what she REALLY wants and STOP living with the "safe" bet and give HERSELF what she wants to be happy instead of always worrying about everyone else's happiness before her own!

I would imagine this (the bolded part) was probably how it went but KNOWING that Liz was going to tell him it was over, you would THINK he would have given her a head's up that they won't be alone so to be careful what she says.

Yeah, I was wishing Liz told Lucky the truth the ENTIRE time she pregnant with Jake, and even After she had the kid. AND HERE-WE-GO-AGAINNNNNNNNNN !!!

This doesnt make any since, and watch how soon the will sweep this under the carpet once corny Rebecca is proven to be EM, can you say "Buh-Bye Niz"

Ditto!! I am getting tired of her lying to Lucky by hiding under the disgise that she is protecting him when past experience has shown that he just gets hurt worse then the time before. But good intentions or not I can't imagine someone with as much (seemingly) intelligence as Liz think that pretending to be in-love with someone while sleeping/loving thier sibling is protective in ANY way.
While it's no secrect I am not a Liz fan I am already cringing at the blow up when Lucky finds out. Although I can see Lucky making excusses for Liz and taking all his rage out on Nic. And while I was always a big fan of Nic's since day 1 this side of him is just making me sick.

See GHP...you are cringing and I am so friggin excited. I love this potential storyline. I don't want Elizabeth to marry Lucky...I, however, don't want Elizabeth to admit this to Lucky. I want him to find out some other way. Like accidentally walking in on them enflagrante' or someone else telling him and at first he doesn't believe it but then starts putting the pieces together (wait...he works for pcpd so that may be asking a bit too much )

Then when you cringe...I'll be jumping up and down clapping and shouting woohoooooooo cause this is just plain old grass roots soapy goodness to me.

And you are right...He'll probably blame Nic and not Elizabeth but I hope he blames both and gives it to Elizabeth good. (but no custody battle cause...puh-leeze...has Elizabeth ever even been arrested? done drugs?)

Then again...see I see all of this with GV as Lucky...I don't know WHAT to expect from the "new" Lucky.

Only time will tell.

Ok after watching today, he didn't seem to even KNOW about it? Why wouldn't Nik have known or been invited to it? Ok I'm going to HAVE to go with JD's theory that he didn't answer Lucky's calls because it makes NO SENSE!
