General Hospital - MESSAGE BOARDS

This sounds insane but I was watching House and if everyone knows Chase is dealing with the fact that he killed an evil dictator. He thinks he did the right thing because he potentialy saved millions of lives...but in reality he still took a human life...as a doctor...

and this brought to Sonny Jason and our lovely Doctors at GH...

What if Sonny or Jason is critically injured and is rushed to surgery. He must be saved by Patrick or Robin or Monica must save Jason or Sonny and they have to make the decision after something horrible has happened...Patrick or Robin have lost each other to mob violence, Monica has a chance to get rid of Sonny...and get her son back.

It was would be drastic...but could shift the focus back to the hospital. SB or MB would have to want out, but the drama of deciding when or if it is okay to take a life...

Any thoughts? Sorry if it seems way out there...but I thought it was be interesting to see the doctors of GH battle with each other over whether or not saving Jason or Sonny is for the good or the town...

I'm all for them getting rid of Sonny anyway they can. I think if MB wanted to leave, this would be a GREAT way to do it! As you stated for them to have to make the decision between Jason and Sonny but it being a HOSPITAL storyline and family oriented as well...I don't know if I could handle them actually going back to the type of show it USED to be!

I just wonder what will happen when SB and MB decide to leave the show. As a die hard sonny fan at one time, I would hate to see him go, but I don't know where else the character can go. Unless he gos straight and creates a credible business, I think he would have to be killed off, locked up or leaves the country. I think Johnny was brought on to carry out the mob storyline after Sonny and Jason leave, but I don't think he has the same screen presence of bad-boy image that would carry of support him solely in that role. They have to make a shift back to the hospital and doing something like that would shift the focus in a dramatic way. But I think we would have to be invested in the doctor to be able to sympathize with him or her.
