I guess I'm the troublemaker in this thread... not really a snickers fan. Although, I will give you, they are much better frozen. And snickers ice cream bars are delicious.

Frozen Oh Henry bars maybe? They were my saving grace (and probably my lifeline) when I was pregnant!

I don't think I've ever had an Oh Henry bar, actually. My personal fave is frozen Reese's cups.

LOL

I think once again this is a thread designed to try to create the much overdone feud. It's really un-necessary. Why would it be so hard to believe that maybe hearing that a woman Jason loves/loved is getting remarried would affect him. He has always shown concern and caring for his past lovers/relationships.

And even if it's impossible for you to believe...why start a thread about it..hmmmmm? oh right...

The show pans to faces and facial reactions for a reason. Unless the character flat out says it...it's up to interpretation by the viewer as to what the emotion was regarding. No I didn't see a tear but Jason did show a reaction of pain, his eyes watered and yes, he was shocked. He even told Sam when they met at her apartment that he didn't know about the engagement before but that he just hopes she's happy.

It seems there is a real push to try to instigate the war from those that should just be sitting back and being happy right now. However, in the days, weeks, months to come...those will be the same ones depressed because in soap land...you never stay together for long.

Now if there's a real subject to discuss, debate in this thread...I'd love to see it.

You are correct Ali, I just didn't feel like typing all that out and didn't even see a purpose with trying to debate it as it is an obvious thread, hence my sarcastic comment.

So to you (or anyone who wants to have a discussion) I will say, there is ANY number of reasons why Jason looked liked that but it OBVIOUSLY affected him in a not so happy way. Whether he's worried that Jake will be affected again, whether it's the fact that he feels a loss toward Liz because he still has feelings for her, whether it be that he KNOWS Liz doesn't love Lucky and she is again settling for him instead of true love, or all of the above, it DID affect him and his face said so. Also as you said Ali, if it DIDN'T affect him in a not so happy way, he wouldn't have mentioned it later!

My only qualm with all this is, why does he keep talking to Sam about it and not Liz? Him and Liz have always gone to each other when they have something in the other's lives that they need to discuss yet he is just ignoring it and allowing himself to be unhappy about it? Now Liz and Jason aren't even allowed to be friends or is it that Jason doesn't want to learn what HE thinks is the truth, that she's moved on? Again, no matter what ANYONE says, Jason always had and always will have feelings for Liz.

Bravo! Well said genhospchat!

Aha...and the debate begins. I love you gen. Let's see. Well the obvious reason he hasn't gone to talk to her is that they have not written scenes that would be more in line with what Jason would normally do Therefore, we don't get to see it. Because lets face it. Jason would have been sitting in that darn chair in the dark when Elizabeth came home from the hospital and flicked on the floor lamp, scared the beejeezes out of her then asked what was going on? Either then or when he heard she was engaged.

Now some might argue he's been so busy with his obvious obsession with proving Claudia was involved in the shooting, thus nearly killing Michael but also completely squashing a dream he had of a family with Elizabeth and Cake. That certainly makes sense and would explain his newfound insubordination with regards to Sonny telling him to lay off.

Finally, and a theme throughout my post is that he just hasn't been himself lately.

What say you?

I say nay!

sorry just always wanted to say that lol carry on...teehehe

Frozen Oh Henry bars maybe? They were my saving grace (and probably my lifeline) when I was pregnant!

I don't think I've ever had an Oh Henry bar, actually. My personal fave is frozen Reese's cups.

OH that sounds GOOD!!!! I like them from the fridge (not a fan of them when not cold) but frozen could be really good!

I am not a fan of Oh Henry bars AT ALL but when pregnant, you will eat what your body tells you to!

Ok first, I edited my post because I said, "I like them from the fridge but am not a fan of them when cold" HUH? So I changed it to "when NOT cold"

An Oh Henry is a chocolate bar with a nougat center, which is covered in chocolate and peanuts.

Oh how about if I throw an Oh Henry at you?

Yeah, I don't really like them very much at room temperature either, but I LOVE them frozen. For whatever reason, candy just tends to get so much better when frozen. I don't like room temperature snickers at all (sorry Alikat, I should have clarified that I'm not a fan of unfrozen snickers - please don't bad post me! ) but when they're cold they're not bad.

And yes, candy is definitely a hot topic! I love a good candy debate

I say absolutely! I agree with your comments that what he can't have is affecting what he is doing and what he has. As for the stuff regarding Liz, I agree that he would have sat in that chair until she got home. Even when he saw Niz kissing (ICK), the USUAL Jaosn would have gone to Liz RIGHT AWAY if he THOUGHT it was an issue toward Jake, he wouldn't have run to Sam's about it. (and NO this is not saying anything against Sam)

I guess when he told Liz, he HAS to walk away because it's the only way, he meant it, though as we have seen, she is STILL on his mind!

Sorry, I have to disagree with you ladies. I think that Jason did have a tear in his eye. I think he had gas, and was trying to be as quiet as possible about it to not give himself away. He even whipped out his earpiece to make sure he wasn't heard. Once the deed was done, he could not move, thus the resulting tear. Since then he's decided that the refried beans he had at the Mexican Restaurant weren't the smartest choice before breaking and entering. He should stick to Chinese.

As for the candy debate-I vote for Reeses Cups!

Does he have allergies or maybe he was upset to hear about how close Lucky and Sam once were. What do any of you think? Was I imagining the tear?

yup he had a tear...a tear of ****** (you fill in the blank) I will give you a hint...it starts with an R.....

if he had a tear in his eye it was because the writers wanted us all to sit here and debate how much more Jason loves Liz than Sam and vice versa(sp)... Whether you love Jasam or Hate Lisason or which ever way your boat floats...the writers are playing with us like we're on a yo-yo...I expect to see a lot of likes like that from Jason while he doing Sam. Keeps us taking and keeps us watching. Sorry if it sounded blunt...but these looks like have no purpose but to get us relied up and have us debate who the love of Jason's life is...even though we all know its sonny and carly...

I'm not sure I agree. I'm on the fence between the love of his live being Carson, and his hair gel, black tee and leather jacket. Tough call.
