General Hospital - MESSAGE BOARDS

Since there is SO much negativity on the boards, not about the show, the posters, I think that we should talk about the SHOW!! *gasp* I know... Anyways, I think we should write 5 things we like RIGHT now. Please oh please, I am on my hands && knees, don't make this into a war!! I am sick and tired of those. No poster bashing either, because that tends to get threads closed..

My 5 PROS
1. JaSam. I am happy they are back together.
2. Dante: whoa man.
3. The writing has been very good, and entertaining. Keep It UP!
4. Lulu: I am actually starting to like Lulu again. It took me a while, but I think that Dante brings out the best in her.
5. Helena: I love that the wicked witch is back. It should turn out really soapy...

My 5 CONS
1. They are making Liz very oh very confusing, JMO. What I mean is, they have her back && forth...
2. That it brings about these wars on the MB.
3. That Kristina slept with Kiefer.
4. Jax... just Jax.
5. That Carly can never have a NORMAL pregnancy, I know it is soapy, but she has always had problems with her pregnancy's.

I hope you get your wish and this doesn't turn in to a warzone!

Here are my pros-

#2. Return of Jonathan Jackson as Lucky
#3. Return of Tony Geary (Anytime that he graces the screen is a plus in my book!)
#4. Dante (need I say more)
#5. Sweeps is coming so things will only get better than they already are.

My cons -
#1. That Greg Vaughn is/will soon be gone.
#2. That it seem as though Liz will be the cause of two brothers fighting with each other.
#3. Jax (he needs to go back down under, forever!)
#4. That they still haven't given Matt a good story.
#5. Maxie's new hair do!

Pros

1. Dante and Lulu [ADORE them!!]

2. Dante himself - I really hope they don't change his character anytime soon...anytime at all actually; he seems like the only good guy on there

3. Claudia is leaving!

4. Helena - She seems to make everyone a bit more interesting...for example, Alexis. I LOVED their scene in the hospital. It was so much fun.

5. Luke and Ethan - Love their relationship

#2-Jasam (Don't like the couple, they seem to have to talk everything into the ground, although this storyline has made me like Sam a bit better.)
#3-Molly's busybodiness-Come on writers! Where are the adults setting her boundaries?(Think the actress is sweet though.)
#4-I'm SO over the mob!!!!!
#5-Not enough usage of the supporting cast. I love GH's capacity for humor and seeing Coleman and Johnny last week just made me miss the talents and heart of the rest of the cast.

Pros

1. Spixie
2. The much improved writing
3. Dante, Dante and Lulu
4. Claudia is going to be gone really really soon.
5. The rare Mac appearances have increased a little bit
5a. Sweeps are going to be exciting. JJs return though I will miss GV; Franco's, the Cassadines, Claudia's demise THERE IS A LOT TO LOOK FORWARD TO.


Cons

1. Not enough Mac
2. I miss Max and Diane though I know the actors are busy and that is why the have been missing
3. Too much Sonny and the Mob
4. I miss Spixie since the non-wedding
5. Kristina--It is so hard to be sympathetic to this character the way she is presented. Keifer is awful and I hope he gets what is coming to him. I just do not like Kristina though. I just can't seem to emotional connect to this character and what she is going through.

1. The quality of the acting.

3. The humanizing humor, for example, Johnny, Carly, and especially Coleman in the premature labor scenes.

4. The breathtaking love scenes.

5. The sheer amazing breadth of the stories.

Cons

1. Starting some fascinating s/l and not continuing them. I'd love for Michael to have some minor psychic powers, for example.

2. Well, I'm stuck!!!!!!

PROS

1. JJ coming back!

2. Liz and Nik decided to stop seeing each other (do I think this will last no but for the moment, I am happy they are away from each other)

3. Dante. Here's to hoping he can bring Sonny down (I know it won't happen but I am hoping he continues to pursue it even if/when they find out they're related)

4. CarJax. It's been a long time since I have enjoyed Carly and now that she's with Jax, she is calm and happy but still has that edge to her. (though can they bring back some of the old Jax, the businessman, take no prisoners Jax)

5. The comedy lately. GH has been so filled with depressing storylines and violence, it was good to see the karaoke at Jake's for the non-wedding and Johnny and Coleman tripping over each other while Carly was having labour pains was AMAZING!


CONS:

1. Niz. This storyline makes me think the writers just threw something together to have JJ's return coincide with a story for Liz and Lucky (their SUDDEN re-connection was just that...SUDDEN and out of nowhere)

2. Jasam. Didn't like it the first time and don't like it this time. I don't think (and never did think) it does (did) anything positive for either character except that they look pretty.

3. Jason. Who is this feeble minded, hypocritical shadow anyways?

4. Alexis has been shown to be a character who is hard to root for lately (she was one of my faves and she is great when against Helena and with Luke). I understand she wants her kids to be good but they are throwing her under the bus to create sympathy elsewhere.

4a. What's with Molly and her thinking she's an adult and butt into everyone's business? She is reminding me of Michael before he was shot and he was annoying so.......

5. Rebecca. I can't think of one good thing to say about this character.

i know some of you will not agree but hey i love everything about gh.

Well, let me give this a shot.

Pros

1. The gruesome twosome are back. I love Luke and Helena storylines. They bring a certain mysterious and dangerous quality to GH, and always a good storyline (I hope the writer's take advantage of it).

2. The writers are finally giving Lulu a strength of character that has been solely missing for a very long time.

3. The writers are finally throwing in some comedy to break the monotony of the darkside they've been shoving down our throats lately.

3. Jonathan Jackson's return. I love him as lucky. And as not to take anything away from GV's acting, he just never struck me as being a good Lucky (writer's fault) because he is to wishy washy, condecending (sp), pushy and since the Maxie thing has been a total hypocrite.

4. Spinellie (sp)and Maxie. They are so funny.

5. Johnny and Coleman. They should have more scenes together because they play off each other really well.

Cons

1. Taking away Liz's strength of character (the writer's have turned her into a whimp).

2. Alexis' stupidity as it applies to her children. Alexis has always been a strong character and they've taken that away from her.

3. Too much Kristina and Keifer. Can't stand either of them. He needs to be gone, and she needs less air time.

4. Turning Molly into a mini-adult. She's a kid for goodness sake.

5. No more Annabelle, and not enough Quartermaines. Love the Quatermaines, and I miss Annabelle. They should get another dog.

Pros-
1. JJ returns its about freakin time
2. Sam- not jasam just sam
3. Helena returns
4. Dante- yum oh I love him and not just his hotness.
5. Lulu and Maxie's friendship

Cons-
1. GV leaving, I do love him just not as lucky
2. Claudia harassing Olivia
3. Matt/Coleman/and the Q's not getting enough screen time
4. Keifer
5. Diane and Max breaking up and disappeared

Pros-

2. Dante; Dante/Lulu
3. Carjax
4. More light/fun scenes
5. Kristina Storyline. Hopefully this will open a few parents' eyes. It can happen to anyone's child.

1. Sam - terrible character, never liked her, never will. The ramming down my throat makes me vomit
2. Jason - My once favorite character is a former shadow of himself. Where is the Jason I loved?
3. The kids - Michael, Kristina, Molly & Morgan don't act their age. We don't need 10 year old acting like they are adults. The actors are cute, the writing for them terrible
4. Claudia and the ongoing "Who shot Michael" saga.
5. The Mob Storyline - When are Jason and Sonny get their just deserve?
