This is one of my biggest pet peeves as well. Jax buying Spoon Island out from under Nik and the two of them threatening to ruin each other....whatever happened there? That could have been a great s/l.

...the worst part about that dropped storyline was we haven't gotten to see Nik and Carly steaming up the screen anymore...

I KNOW but hey...instead of that great storyline we got to see Nadine and Aunt Rayleens invention go to Washington...yeeeeeeHAW!!!!

And you know what...and Nightmoves I know you love Carly and may not agree...but I think Nik and Carly could have had some somthin somethin going on instead of the tired and true (ooops did I mean tried ~ why no I didn't ) Sonny/Carly/Jax story.


See that's how badly they screwed up that storyline. Does Nik still own a % of MetroCourt? It Nik's place still in foreclosure? Is Nik still having $$ issues? Cause he sure did cut a check for like $1mil to Rebecca. Would he be albe to do that if he were experiencing an economic crunch in the Royal family?

Cripes...see now I'm just mad all over again...counterfeit drugs and Spoon Island were both stories that didn't center around mob stuff so they drop it.

Hey Cass, good to see u again!! I'm one of those long-time viewers that has been ticked off by all this OOC stuff. ESP. Jason/Liz, and others too that don't come to mind just now, and it's not just b/c I'm a Liason fan.

Alikat, ITA about Nik and Carly. I was one of the original passengers on the "Narly Train". While CarJax have their moments, they have become boring to me and Jax is still a "weenie" EVEN more so now that he is getting involved with Dante's investigation but that is for another thread

But yes, what ever happened to the resort Jax was going to build on Spoon Island? These two corporate moguls trying to take each other out would have been great.

Nightmoves....I think I'll laugh about Narly for the rest of my life. That's one of the funniest I've seen so far.

Yes, I could be so up for the Narly!!!!

Like I said...dropped storylines are what one of the biggest problems with GH is right now. How they got a Best Writing Emmy (although I heard the reel centered aroud the writing for Jason when Michael got shot) I don't know with the inconsistency and the drastic changes in characters.

What about Max and Edward in the hospital? What about the Mayor? His wife got killed, turned out to be the murderer of his mistress and *wipes hands* done? How about Monica's drinking problem or Robins PPD. Did that 6 week stint cure her for good? No residual issues?

Lordy, I could go on for days with just dropped storylines in the past year.

What about Matt?
What about the clinic?
What about Toussaint?

OH a big one....what about STAN and his death? Stone Cold and the Grasshopped promised Epiphany they would solve the mystery around his death.

And what was the guys name that Mr. Craig/Jerry Jax kept calling? Did he just go away?

Let's see...Kate and the mystery of sinking her own ship?

And where did Nadine go? I was starting to get used to the strange country bumpkin.

I hate that too. I was sooo made when they just took Cooper Barrett and did nothing with the last name and altered the character to kill him. That was a just get rid of the s/l example to me. We never found out where he came from, what the briefcase was about.... on and on. Sigh. And then of course the counterfeit drugs and the clinic in Emily's now... almost like they said oh nevermind. You're not really listening to the dialogue and story right? You just want eye candy, it's okay if the stories don't make sense or don't even follow through! It's insulting. One of the reasons I haven't watched forever.
