For the first time in forever, Jax is not annoying me. I hope he does stop being a big pansy and takes down Sonny.

Dante was all gung-ho, so let him have at it!

Jax doesn't deserve to lose everything; that a bit taking it too far; but, whatever. Anyway, Jax has always been a shrewd business man and he will do whatever he has to do to protect his family just like Sonny. What type of husband, father, or step-father or even person would Jax be to jeopardize his wife and child’s health by telling Carly the truth right now? Jax is doing what he thinks is best for his family. Frankly, I think Jax was the best thing that ever happened to Carly and her boys because he provided them with a loving, caring, stable and normal(as much as possible)home for them; and, Morgan and Michael know their father. Also I don’t remember Jax ever keeping Sonny away from his children.

Dante is a law enforcer; therefore, he is in a dangerous profession anyway by his choice, meaning he knows what come with the territory. Dante’s assignment was to dismantle the mob in Port Charles and he seems to be all for it. The way it seem to me was that Dante was happy that he had friends in high places.

WOW!!! So much hatred for a fictional character. Maybe if the show upsets some of you so much, you shouldn't watch it. Really!!! But I guess it's better to hate and release agression against a fictional character than a real one.

I don't think that Jax deserves to lose everything.

I know Jax's motives are not altruistic. While Jerry has done some terrible things, it has been Sonny's actions that have put Carly and the kids at risk and others as well.

Sonny kidnapped and tortured Johnny resulting in a hit being put on him which ended up with Michael being shot and put in a coma.

Sonny also helped the Russian mob set up shop in PC until he learned they weren't abiding by his rules. When Kate was shot, he blamed Karpov and killed him. It resulted in a mob war in which Sonny's father Mike was beaten up, Kellys burned down, Jake being kidnapped and Sam being pushed down a well.

As for Dante, he is determined to go after Sonny (which we recently learned was because Sonny put a hit on a man he considered a father figure) and has threatened to do it on his own. Wouldn't he be safer doing it in a official capacity with his fellow officers backing him up?

Let me clarify some points: I was really angry with Jax when I made my original post. So the comment about being Sonny;s baby was just a jab because I know his head would explode if that were true (I know it ca't possibly be his)

But what I find so incidious about Jax's recent action is that it is very personal. People keep saying he wants to protect his family, but his family is Sonny's family. He has done all he can to facilitate the separation of Sonny and his kids. Michael getting shot was a stroke of luck for him even if he wont admit it.

Jax doesnt not consider Michael and Morgan. What you want a bet he wont want Michael around the new baby.

It doesnt matter if Dante wanted back on the case he should have honored his friends wishes. Dante doesnt know the whole story to make an informed decision about working the case. This is a longtime vendetta that can be tracked through the reltionships with Brenda Sam Courtney and now Carly, you can even throw in Alexis.

You want to see dirty dealings wait until that baby is born Jax is going to become a tyrant and feel justified the "good guy" he is. He's a corporate raider dont let the slick exterior fool you.

Hmmm. I never really thought of Jax as that much of a good guy. Mostly I've seen him as rather selfish and ruthless, even when he is cozying up to Carly and her kids.

But he is not a murderer. So I have no problem with him taking down Sonny even if he is using Dante to do it.

And yes, Dante doesn't know about Sonny being his dear old dad, but it doesn't change the fact that they are on opposite sides of the law and Sonny is a killer and a criminal. It is time for Sonny to pay.
