I wish the baby turned out to be Sonny's which if they re-cast Claudia would make her and Jax's head explode. But here are the reasons I hope he loses everything

He is a usurper in the in Sonnys relationship with Sonnys Kids
He is so obsessed that he is willing to put a friends son's life at risk for his own agenda
He is allowing Dante go after and arrest or be killed by his own father without knowing his parentage
He can look his step children in the eye and Carly and appear to be a standup guy yet he is a liar and trying to destroy their father.
His brother is as bad as Sonny but that is another story.

Sonny is a criminal and that life results in consequences but if Jax chooses to be with his ex wife and be stepfather to his children he is also accepting part of Sonny's lifestyle.

Jax is no hero. I hope he loses his wife kids and his business. Everything he planned for Sonny let it come back on him.
What he is doing is terrible and Olivia and Dante need to go back home.

i agree Jax shouldn't be doing what he is doing, especially calling a Senator and getting Dante put back on the case. He is putting Dante's life in danger. I can see where he is coming from, he wants to protect his family and he thinks getting rid of Sonny will do that. He has wanted his own child so much, I can sympathize with him. But I wish they would end this storyline. I bet something is going to happen to Carly and the Baby because of Jax's plans. I surely hope not. I cannot stand to have to watch another baby die on General Hospital.

While I agree Jax is trying to keep things from Carly for the right reasons because of the baby. I will say, it's all turning into the wrong reasons. He knows how Olivia feels about Dante being on the case, yet he went behind her back and pulled strings to get him back on it and then turned around and asked her to keep an eye on Carly! I'm like you just stabbed her in the back with what you did and you want her to keep an eye on your wife!?

Yes, Jax is fibbing his head off but his intentions are good. He wants to protect his family. He has very good reason (proven over and over again) to believe that Sonny is a danger to everyone in his orbit. IMO, Jax doesn't deserve to lose everything because of his poor choices in lying to Carly and in maneuvering to keep Dante on the case. I think he'll get his punishment (assuming it's necessary) from Carly when she finds out. Like him or not, Jax is one of the very few good guys in town. I really hate to see the bad guys keep operating with impunity in Port Chuck. Sonny deserves whatever bad that comes his way.

As to the idea of hoping Carly's baby is Sonny's...gosh, I can't think of anything worse than that. As Sonny proves on an almost daily basis (and readily admits to himself), he is the worst father ever. No other children should be subjected to his shoddy parenting.

Regarding Dante leaving...that would be terrible. He's the best thing to hit the GH canvas is a very long while.

I don't think Jax deserves to lose everything even if he is a weenie I do think by lying he is trying to protect Carly until the baby is born.

The thing I DO have a problem with is him using his contacts to have Dante reinstated on the case. He does know how dangerous it is for Dante. He is supposed to be Olivia's friend and he knows how she feels about Dante being involved with this investigation and how relieved she was that he was taken off the case, yet he goes ahead and does it anyway.

Remember, Olivia could have went to Sonny and told all she knew about Claudia but didn't as she respected that it was Jax secret to tell. I think he could have returned the favor on this one. Instead he is letting his hate for Sonny cloud his judgment on this one IMO.

To each his/her own.

I can tolerate Jax for three reasons:
1. He's not in the mob.
2. As long as he and Carly are married, there is not a chance in hades that she will become Mrs. Corinthos for a FIFTH time
2. He's willing to do just about anything to get rid of Sonny.

Actually, #3 is the primary reason I can tolerate him.

And while I think that was a scum move not to tell Dominic that he could get him back on the case before actually doing it, Dominic didn't seem to care how he got reinstated as long as he was back on the case.

Although Jax's intentions were good, he went about it the wrong way and it made him a hypocrite. His brother is just as dangerous as Sonny, if not more, and he's doing absolutely nothing to stop him. And from what I remember, wasn't Jax and Carly on their honeymoon when he first found out Jerry and Claudia's part in Michael's shooting? Because if they were it was waaay before Carly even realized that she was pregnant. In fact it was when Carly didn't even think it was a possibility!

Jax is nothing but big pile of stinky BS.

Hello, Jax you are a big fat hypocrite! Your own brother is just as bad if not worse (actually since Jerry hides what he really is he is therefore WORSE, because no one is aware that he is dangerous to be around) and HOW many times have you helped him escape without punishment?

Jax needs to clean his OWN house before he even thinks about pointing fingers at ANYONE else.

I also agree that Jax has no valid reason (other than jealousy) for going after Sonny. Carly's previous relationship with Sonny and the paternity of her sons was known to everyone. Jax entered this relationship with open eyes and unless he is just flat out stupid he knew that Sonny (and Jason) were part of the Carly package. If he couldn't accept it, then he never should have gotten involved with her. AS far the baby and keeping Carly safe during her pregnancy. He is supposed to he smart, rich, stubborn. I'm sure if he had half way tried (instead of sitting around acting better than everyone else) he could have talked Carly into going SOMEWHERE, ANYWHERE (away from the drama) for the duration of her pregnancy!

Stabbing Olivia in the back, is just plain low and I wish that Olivia had blown him out of the water, first chance she got! If Jax is a 'good guy', I hate to see what a bad bad is!

IMO - Jax does deserve to have this (his lies and maniputions) come back on him. Nothing would please me more than for Jasper Jacks to pack up is crap and take the first boat back to Australia for good! Well there is stuff that would please me more, but this is not the thread for it!
