wow, ok...Well I've watched in stages staring in the 70's.

I remember watching as a kid when my mom watched.

I remember audrey, rick, tom hardy etc.

Then I watched in the 80's with luke, laura and the cassadines...I remember watching when demi moore played jackie templeton and her sister who resembled laura

Then I started watching regulary again when Sonny first entered the cast. Back then he was great to watch, like Jason is today.

I followed Sonny/Brenda right up till she left, then I stopped watching for awile then started again after Jason/Sam hooked up...but I didn't see them from the beg so I had to play catch up on YT

Over the years I might have flipped through the channels and seen that it was on, but didn't ever give it any thought. I remember one time I watched an episode just because. It was when Carly was pregnant and being held captive.

I actually started watching regularly on my own in late 2007, I was 16. I remember the episode.

It was the one where Spinelli found Georgie on the stairs. I didn't know what was going on, but I still cried.

You're only 18????????????????????? Wow I would have thought you were MUCH older than that! Funny I see posters who say they're in their thirties when I thought they were about 14 and here I thought you were at least in your twenties, if not thirties!

yes mam. Just took my senior pictures today. lol

I'm going to choose to take the fact that you thought I was OLD as a compliment. (not that 30 is old, but for me, well, you know)

Of COURSE it's a compliment....you are VERY mature for your age!

Thank you. A few years ago, a family member at reunion told me I had the soul of a 45 year old woman. Pretty sure that was the drunk of the family, so I never put much stock into it.

I have been watching since I was 10...
I am now 14, gonna turn 15 January 9th.
My godmother and I, (my mom's best friend) watch the show and talk about it. She is a Liason fan, and I am a Jasam fan, so our conversations are pretty funny concerning the show.

I've been watching since the summer of 2005. My mom used to watch it in the early 90s and then stopped when she went back to work. Once we started getting SoapNet she started watching again and I watched with her.

See now Cherry, what I was saying to J09 above, I wouldn't have thought you were any older than in your 20's or 30's because you have such a hip personality.

Bless your heart. You just made my day!
I'm not quite decrepit yet, but I do keep getting offered senior discounts.

Well I can assure that I am not, nor was I, drunk when I made those comments to you so perhaps that family member was speaking the truth!

This thread actually caused me to do math, and remember how old I am!

Technically I'm a 4th generation viewer (my Great Grandmother used to just pick up the phone & hang it up if you called during the 2 o'clock hour --that was before VCRs, and she figured if it was important you'd call her back after 3pm ) so I've been watching since I was in the womb.

From point of memory though I'd say that I've been watching since I was really little, and had a baby sitter with all white furniture / carpet (what was my mother thinking?! ).

Which leads me to the math...

Parents divorced when I was 3, I entered a structured day care at 5 so the crazy lady must have been watching me between ages 3-4 1/2 yrs old so I'll split the difference & say I've been watching since I was 4 yrs. old. The first s/l I recall is Luke/Laura getting stuck in Wyndham's Department Store. I checked Google, and came up with this clip:

Dancing at Wyndham's Department Store laura&luke
www.youtube.com/watch?v=jTi_PFSrids

The clip is identified as having aired in 1980 so I was either a late 4 or an early age 5.

Sidenote--I so totally FLOVED it when Dawson's Creek paid homage to this scene when Pacey & Joey were locked in a Department Store too...it's how I KNEW they'd end up together in the end!

Now back to my calculations...

I'm sticking with Age 4 as the start of viewership.
I'm 34... ...yes, 34 now. So subtracting my start age from my current age I've been watching for 30 YEARS!

Give or take a few years when I tuned out due to writer stupidity ...taking off after the break up of Liason is not the first time I've left, and likely won't be the last --I just think GH really has to EARN my viewership. I'm 4th Generation baby I don't come cheap!

Okay so now that you all have confirmed that I'm NUTS, and so hysterically busy with life that I can't remember my OWN age I'll leave this thread.

BUT not before saying this to Jasam09...Age is just a number. It is maturity that counts. You have enough maturity & grace that you can hold your own anywhere! Some people double, nay, triple your age don't have that. Hold on to that, but spoil your inner child as well! I may be serious as a heart attack most of my life, but give me a Spiderman figurine or a stupid s/l filled hour of GH, and I'm a kid again!

I grew up watching GH. I can remember things way back to the late 70s When I was about 6. I am 37. So I have been watching 31-ish years.(WOW thats sounds horrible...I am getting old ) I remember having to rush home from school to see it. Then when VCRs where invented it was my saving grace....lol

I've been watching GH for about 31 years - my mom would always watch - she still does. But I have pretty much stopped since the writers have pretty much lost their minds.
