I used to watch "Guiding Light" but when Laura Wright left, so did I. And I'm glad I did! GH is wonderful! This whole hostage crisis has me mesmerized! And I discovered the wonderful Kimberly McCullough, Nancy Lee Grahn (I knew her from "Santa Barbara"), Robin Christopher (I knew her from "Another World") and all the other wonderful actors on this show! My only complaint is that they fired Stuart Damon!

i've been watching gh since 1976 and it's had some ups and downs but, it's still the best soap out there! Jmo

I remember the show when it was still in black and white!
But I didn't become a full-flegded fan until Laura first appeared on the show.
Over the years, I watched lots of other soaps, SB;Y&R;AMC;OLTL;PC;(just to name a few)
but none of those have EVER had me as completely hooked as GH does!
It doesn't matter what the rating say
GH is #1 with me!
Always has been!
Always will be!

But wouldn't it be nice if we could find a way to agree!
Maybe meet in the middle?

Like Liz and Sam get tired of being strung along and both of them say "see-ya" to Jason and find some one new?

Or they all just agree to be friends and they all find someone new.

Or they become Mormans and move to Utah so they can all live together (no offense intended to ANYONE!)

i like that last idea, have you ever seen big love? good series about 1 man married to 3 women. lol i just skip the thread i don't want to go on. because bashing sam or liz it's not worth my time...
the 2nd season for big love starts in april!

I saw that series, thought I wouldn't be interested but I was hooked. Hated it ended so quickly...also ya know in the old mob world it was normal for the men to have a wife w/family and a hot mistress...

I think it's spelled Mormon. And I don't think they practice polygamy anymore....
