General Hospital - MESSAGE BOARDS

I know that people have their own minds , and that a person can feel about a person or subject any way they choose you can love or hate whatever you want , but I am constantly taken aback by how passionate , and downright vicious that posters on this board get about the Characters of Sam and Liz . I have seen some of the cruel , and often times inaccurate and unfair statements that have been written about them on these boards . For a second let's just take Jason and Lucky out of the equation .Liz and Sam actually have a lot in common , they just took different roads in life . They grew up feeling disconnected , and unloved by their families , they are passionate about those they care for , more often than not they try to do the right thing , and even when they don't succeed and do wrong they rarely if ever set out to intentionally hurt anyone . Sam suffers because people around her have seen her as a screw up , and almost no one seems willing to let her change . And Liz struggles because everyone in her life sees her as " MS . PERFECT ", they act as if she can do no wrong and place all this pressure on her , and want her to live the life that they think she should live rather than truly hearing and listening to her . So she feels guilty and makes more poor choices . When you look at these two characters on their own , are they still the tramps ,witches ,bad mothers ,mean , vindictive manipulative and malicious women that people write so fervently about on these boards . I have even seen swipes taken against Rebecca Herbst , and Kelly Monaco . Which is so unfair , and going too far . THESE ARE FICTITIOUS CHARACTERS , WHO ARE ONLY PORTRAYED IN THE MANNER INTO WHICH THEY ARE WRITTEN !!!! It kills me that people seem to forget that .

For a minute this stopped but i am afriad with this new thread it might start right back up.I am out of it.They can bash all they want.

i don't...i don't get offended! Isn't the bashing the fun part, only because everyone's sooo passionate about who they think is there favorite?

If there wasn't heated debates over fan favs then they wouldn't be sooo popular! I am a Jason/Sam fan...but I love to hear why and why not on both parts!

It has been awhile since I had visited this board because of all the bashing. It is still going on here more than other sites. Another reason I stopped posting in this site was because of all the games. I am not good at numbers and it boggles my mind and makes me dizzy to try to keep up. At any rate, it was nice to see more threads other than the games. The topics are really good.

Works for me.

That's why I enjoy the games so much.
